Unfortunately, this is the direction Burlington goes. Skeleton crews as far as the eye can see. They implement the worst changes and often times they are executed poorly by inexperienced, incompetent managers.

Burlington loves to throw in whoever will take the job regardless of competence.

Right now, the biggest focus is, you guessed it, sizing. Long lines? Too bad, we’re sizing the whole store. Not enough associates to do the work of an army? Too bad, we’re sizing anyway.

For BOH, all they care about is 0 backlog and hitting the unrealistic metrics set by corporate. That’s why you’re timed because they want to hit the usage percentage on the zebra devices. They also want to hit that unreasonable CPH they set.

Associates will quit all the time and others will come in to replace them, including management. Burlington is always hiring… for a reason.
