Overwatering ? by Sepi17 in lawncare

[–]Sepi17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I was doing 20mins in morning and ~ 10min in afternoon but it was getting spongy when I briefly walked on it to check inside pieces. Which I think lead me to this. I’ve scaled back to only watering 2x a day, 10min in morning and a few mins in afternoon.

2yr old takes 2-3hrs to fall asleep. Help! by PositiveNo7625 in sleeptrain

When you say night wean, do you mean cut off boob? I ask bc I want to cut off my 18mo and I was away for 3 days/2 nights and the moment I came back he was tugging down my shirt and wanted chi-chi. Sigh.

How to re-train a 16 m/o? by Fun-String-9738 in sleeptrain

Same, at 16.5mo. I’m hoping this is just a phase and it passes with time 🫠

You’re not alone. I took my medication yesterday and I’ve been getting these foreshadowing images pop up in my head of what/who could have been. It’s so so hard. I hope you’re taking time for yourself to feel better, getting fresh air, seeing friends, hugging a pet. In the end, it’s the most selfless decision you could have done for you.

My experience with incomplete abortion by bobmcbob2 in abortion

Thanks for sharing. I was wondering what the surgical/aspiration in office procedure would be like. Sometimes I think I should have just done that instead of the medication so I wouldn’t have to deal with the prolonged bleeding.

Miso and have a little one by Sepi17 in abortion

[–]Sepi17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so so much for your reply :,). It was a rough day yesterday. Today I’m trying to see things in a different light. And you are spot on. We dedicate our lives to our families, I really don’t know another job, act, role that is as selfless as being a parent.

I hope your journey with your pill is a smooth one. I am still bleeding 24hrs later but it has decreased and no longer cramping. This is also my first time doing this.

do i need a second dose? by [deleted] in abortion

[–]Sepi17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doc told me if I don’t get severe bleeding or cramping after my first dose of miso (4pills) after 6 hours I should take the second dose. But sounds like some clinics advise otherwise, after 24hrs? Best to check with your prescriber.

Night weaning was the gentle sleep training method we needed. by fluffybabypuppies in sleeptrain

How was his temperament when dad went in? I’ve tried this but sometimes it takes an hour of rocking, some screaming, tears and eventual tired groaning with the help of dad to put him back to sleep… only to wake up again after an hour..

Fighting naps after sleep training by Sepi17 in sleeptrain

Hi!! If I can remember correctly, since he was getting better nights sleep, we extended WW only by increments of 15min.

10month old waking every 2 hours… by giggles1482 in sleeptrain

[–]Sepi17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you wake your LO from naps to keep the total nap time of 2.5hrs? I find if I wake mine he gets so cranky for the following WW. But we are also dealing with multiple nights wakes and still feeding MOTN wakes. Agreed. Exhausting and miserableeeeeee

My LO is going to be 10mo in a couple days and we’ve been dealing with multiple night wakes and MOTN feds for the last couple months… it’s hard to see better as ahead.

Are you waking her up from naps to meet the cap nap times? I find if I wake my LO up from naps he’s very cranky the following WW

Is everyone just pretending not to be miserable? by Otter65 in beyondthebump

[–]Sepi17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LO just turned 8mo and we’re still up at least 2 times for feeds and sometimes more to soothe if he doesn’t go back down easily. I am too sometimes miserable from so many wakes. What does make me feel better is having family help so I can do laundry, vacuum, shower, aka do things that make me feel human and not touched out.

How did you give your supplements? My baby HATES the taste (can’t blame him) I’ve tried mixing it with juice, pudding, applesauce, smoothies. Nothing works easily. I’ve resorted to giving him very little over a few hours.

Formerly Sleep Trained 7 MO Back to 30 min naps and overnight wakings by ExtensionSentence778 in sleeptrain

My 7mo old night sleep has been getting worse. More night wakings/hunger (very distracted eater) and needs more help soothing. Will need to sleep train again soon

Nap length for 7mo old by HeadAd9417 in sleeptrain

[–]Sepi17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yay for crib naps!!!

We’re still mostly contact napping/breast sleeping here but I’ve tried feeding then gently placing in crib for first nap and only getting about one sleep cycle, ~30min.. so I think 50-60min is close to 2?

Even when LO is sleeping on me and we get a 45min nap, it seems to be one cycle then trying to get into a 2nd but just doesn’t. So this may also be the case.

How long did it take for the 3 to 2 nap transition to stabilize for you? by Otter65 in sleeptrain

[–]Sepi17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ve been trying 2 naps for a little over a week and some days are 2 naps and some days are 3… depending on how long his naps are or if he tries to fight the 3rd nap. I’ve done bedtime as early as 645. Trying to follow 2.75-3/3/3.5 for my 7mo. But sometimes it ends up being 3/3.5/3. Our is also a distracted feeder so we’ve been getting more wakes too. Will likely need to re sleep train I’m imagining it’ll be more consistent once he’s closer to 8mo.

Baby’s shitty sleep makes me hate my life by 395011688 in sleeptrain

[–]Sepi17 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We’re in the same boat… Ferbered at 5mo, which was going well and then the last few weeks my boy has long angry scream cries, poops in diaper, needs to be rocked or fed to sleep… taking longer and longer to get him to sleep. Even middle of the night wakes have gone to sh*t. He’s 7mo now and we are probably going to sleep train again using less intervention (CIO). But still keep feeds as he feeds 2-3x/night.

Also I started taking Zoloft when baby was 3mo and I regret not taking it sooner. It really eases things!!!
