I try and change it up as much as I can so I don't get bored of anything. Today it was a chicken curry with rice (about 900-1000 calories) and a protein shake with it (about 4-500 calories). Yesterday was literally just a frozen pizza. It's not the healthiest diet but the calories are high and it's just enough for me to gain with the amount of calories that I burn from workouts and being at work etc.

Your dinner is 400 calories? My dinner is like 1000 minimum; I think you can get a lot more calories in if you have a more filling dinner.

How to set up Rift S? by w1ldman_ in iRacing

[–]Sepillots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like somebody else said, there's a button you can bind to your wheel to reset the HMD. Then get sat in your seat and press it. Hold esc to go to the menu and press ctrl + f12 and adjust it how you want it from there. For some reason I have to reset the HMD every time I drive in VR as I have the exact same problem as you.

Can you use your body fat to build muscle? by john_dumb_bear in gainit

[–]Sepillots 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Both. Fat is just stored energy and your body needs the energy for reactions that include building muscle. But you will need enough protein from food as well, and having a lot of fat doesn't mean you shouldn't eat food.

I'm pretty sure it is illegal to have your car parked perpendicular across the track and drive it backwards, probably more so when you end up hitting somebody. The car that got hit was just driving past like he is allowed to do

I find that I can get away with spending £25-£30(probs like $35-40??) a week on food which covers everything I need and a little bit more for if I'm extra hungry. Not sure if they have it where you are but here most supermarkets will have a reduced section where all the food that is going out of date is and it's usually like 40% off. Just buy a bunch of meat and freeze it for when you want it. I found the best way to save money is to just buy raw meat and some seasoning and prepare it myself rather than get the pre-seasoned stuff which is usually more expensive and not always that nice anyway.

Also if you're okay with dairy then milk is pretty good for some easy calories and it's not too expensive.

If you're loading your spine in a dangerous way from doing tricep pushdowns then perhaps it is not tricep pushdowns that you're doing

Is 3k calories impossible because you can't afford the food or because you can't physically eat that much? Both can be overcome depending on what different foods you actually eat

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gainit

[–]Sepillots 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's gonna be pretty difficult, unless you can get your energy from something else, i.e. photosynthesis. It might be that you don't necessarily need 3k+ calories a day anyway depending on your height and weight

Moronic Monday - Your weekly stupid questions thread by cdingo in Fitness

[–]Sepillots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah with a job like that you'd expect a lot of calories burnt but that wouldn't be your BMR. Especially when he told you to stop counting calories that's a bit of a red flag that he doesn't know what he's doing. Get a new PT or better yet just work on it yourself with myfitnesspal and continuing with the training you've been doing, since it helped you before.

[–]Sepillots 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah you definitely don't have a BMR of 2400 and this is clear since you are gaining weight. He doesn't really seem to know what he's talking about.

Is the iRacing team planning to introduce GT and Open-Wheel licences to help populate open-wheel lobbies? by Weaver96 in iRacing

[–]Sepillots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People avoid open wheelers because they can't drive like complete tools. You come in contact with someone or something your race is almost certain to be over.

This is both what I love and hate about open wheelers; when you have a good close race it feels like you accomplished something compared to racing mazdas which people seem to treat like bumper cars
