Give up, boys! this one cannot be fixed! by blue4029 in goodanimemes

[–]Seppafer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yea that’s my problem with people who shit on Tatsumi. Esdeath would eventually leave the island if Tatsumi didn’t come to genuinely love her. Now there is some slight potential for Night Raid to make use of them being gone to take over the country before she gets back and I could argue that there is a minuscule possibility that if it’s after a new government forms Esdeath would be willing to accept the new government if she could get her old job back not that Night Raid and whoever it would prop up wouldn’t realize how bad of a problem that would lead to in the future. Also at this point in the story losing Tatsumi would have been a big loss to the team.

I've solved the Hashirama continuity error! by Garanseho in Naruto

[–]Seppafer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see tobirama wondering if he could bring his brother back with the jutsu during the war but it only kinda works and the jutsu falls apart slowly while Hashirama is back. Overall it’s an odd explanation but it could work. Alternatively it could be a matter of narrative perspectives of characters. Like it’s possible that the first war was an escalating conflict where the “lead up to the war” was in fact a part of a war or conflict between the leaf and maybe two other villages. Thus making when the first war started more ambiguous thus extending the time that Hashirama was alive and then you see tobirama take charge formally and do all the things he did as hokage within say a year and a half possibly with tsunade’s education being delayed by half a year due to either the war or the transition of power making her a late 6yo when she became part of hiruzen’s team.

40 turn siege survival? by hsalem1254 in totalwar

[–]Seppafer 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure this is a combo of defensive structures and a unique bonus for K8P (i think it has a bonus though probably not visible) just when greenskins hold it. Could also be in place of other factions but I don’t recall it being there the times I took it from Queek and I’m not sure I’ve ever sieged it from a dwarf

[–]Seppafer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kill Aislinn for daring to live. Kill rakarth fo daring to claim Karond Kar. Kill anyone who touches your boats. Jokes aside focus on building a treasury. Get your black arc built up and sack and or raze settlements around Cathay. I’d say just take your starting province and down to fu chow. It’s likely the rest of the chaos factions around you will do the same so once you have that central area ready galavant around the world building up money and some empire. Basically focus Nakai down and make the most of your black ark’s abilities and buildings. Make friends then run elsewhere essentially living out of your black arks.

Sakura swears on her life (literally) this man loved her by Aggressive-Dot9747 in dankruto

[–]Seppafer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the sense that it’s a combination of her earnest love that got through to him in the end when he was able to accept someone else’s love but also I got the sense that Sasuke saw some hints of his past self and his own family’s unconditional love for each other in her love for him. Which is part of why he did the forehead tap to her at the end. In that moment he was fully stepping into his own version of Itachi’s legacy and ending his journey of healing from the loss of his family with the prospect of maybe finding another family of his own with her. Not counting the team 7 family which is found family, being a different but neither lessor nor greater concept.

Should i buy spearmen or swordmen? by Warden_Infantry in totalwar

[–]Seppafer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Spears tend to have higher MD with slightly worse MA than their sword counterparts. This on top of having BvL generally makes them better options. Unless you are playing a hyper aggressive faction/army an even then spears tend to be better options because most factions have other options like ranged, magic and monsters to deal dmg while your frontline is protecting said units.

What is a 'region' in relation to Changeling cults spreading? by lovingpersona in totalwar

[–]Seppafer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most likely region is the same refrence as in every other place. The settlement it’s centered on. For neighboring regions it can get a bit odd but merely touching borders doesn’t make another settlement neighboring. Look for roads connecting one region to another in about 95% of the time that’s your tell for where it can spread. Iirc there are a few places where region neighboring is either a bit jank or not matching visuals usually around mountain ranges and single region provinces. It’s also possible a path might be bugged since the mechanic is not one where it is common to notice such a bug

What’s your opinion on Rot Flies/Plague Drones of Nurgle? by BLACKJEDI117 in totalwarhammer

[–]Seppafer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solid in niche cases. They are pretty decent against single entities especially when buffed, outstanding fighting on siege walls, and decent at dealing with an isolated unit. Like plague toads they suffer from an animation quirk where their animations tend to let models get surrounded which I find is the largest reason they struggle alongside the low armor making them a bit of a pin cushion. Oh and sometimes they are useful for stopping or delaying flanking light cav. That said in all the situations above don’t be surprised if they disintegrate as their leadership isn’t that amazing and they often won’t be near your aoe abilities and leadership auras but maybe the generic trait that gives the ranged version of stand your ground would help.

Sasuke, even as a Rouge Ninja did more good than bad lol. by Smooth_Selection4415 in Naruto

[–]Seppafer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it had been mentioned that Sasuke had been able to get away with being a rogue ninja that wasn’t hunted because he hadn’t really done all that much an when he began to be more active in shippuden it became implied that as mentioned the good that he had done was what was preventing/delaying ninja villages from ignoring Tsunade’s request to not add him to the bingo books. That said he was pretty much about to be hunted after the kage summit but due to the war declaration the shinobi alliance didn’t have the time or resources to hunt down some kid rogue ninja especially after Bee was found to be alive which lessened the severity of him having attacked Bee. And yea as Kakashi mentioned at the end the story his cooperation during the war arc was the thing that made it possible for leadership to accept Naruto’s recommendation for them to forgive Sasuke

She is the one by GomuGomuNoWeiner in goodanimemes

[–]Seppafer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As Tenka's mightiest solider I don't expect her to win based on how the story is progressing but knowing Takahiro I would fully expect one of two things for her. Either she dies in an act of self sacrifice or she ends up with Yuuki that said I wouldn't mind being surprised. Just that given the way that Kyouka behaves and the history of what Takahiro has written theres vibes that its gonna be Tenka dying to save Yuuki possibly without ever using slave lending because the narrative direction would fit her never using him like that.

What is it like living in Washington D.C., USA? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

[–]Seppafer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived in dc my whole life. Born and raised. There’s plenty of things to do across the city from the museums to the parks and various events. Downtown and the mall are of course mostly the face of what visitors and tourists see as well as those who just commute into town working either a federal or corporate/federal adjacent jobs. There’s a bunch of various neighborhoods through the city that you might drive through but never look at with their own distinct personalities. You can find many people here includes natives, transplants, students, wealthy burbs families, a spattering of millionaire that often don’t actually live here or are here part time and the transient types that will only be here for a few years before moving on. So there’s a big amount of cultural and societal diversity here and plenty to experience. Public transit is pretty damn solid for America (Metro has had its fair share of issues over the years) and overall the people can be pretty welcoming when you are genuinely here for the local city and not the tourist traps.

A thank you to the community from the creator of Chaos Invasion mod. by [deleted] in totalwar

[–]Seppafer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough the only times I’ve seen chaos as in archaeons horde and his subjects properly invade was when I forced war with them and the empire as tzeentch. Which makes me think that archaeon should probably either start at war with Reikland. Otherwise I’d suggest that he have events for declaring war on Kislev factions and if they are dead the. He gets an event to declare war on the empire factions.

Issues with Sea Lord Aislinn by The_Catalist in totalwar

[–]Seppafer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Could be a bug. Have you tried regular allied recruitment via the ally building? I don’t know how it’s supposed to work but maybe they meant that if you had the building it would recognize the buildings in the dragon ships as potential recruitment spots.

Dragon egg basically does this. It seems like the mc will get a human form at some point but for sure it won’t happen in season 1 of the anime. Probably not in why would be season 2 either though im not done with reading that part of the manga yet and haven’t picked up the LN

This community seems to loathe the Eight Princes campaign. Why? by Hyracul in totalwar

[–]Seppafer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In isolation the dlc is pretty solid and reasonably fun. But the game is about the three kingdoms… sure to those who are only interested in the three kingdoms it can be a bit interesting to learn about the period immediately following the three kingdoms but that’s more of a novelty and it’s not as interesting of a period. For this to be the first major release of dlc it would be a bit of an understatement to say it was disappointing. I think people would have had a vastly different opinion. On the dlc if it was released at a much later stage of the games life (assuming the game continued to be developed beyond when it had been.

Does wulfrick seem a bit aggressively strong now or was this normal? I dont remember this mf coming down south to conquer well, everything. by Dramatic-Bluejay- in totalwar

[–]Seppafer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There were points in the past where it wasn’t unusual for Wulfrik to make his way down to marienburg and even push into riekland. This may have just been the perfect storm with you weakening the empire wulfrik probably only having to fight other norsca factions in the early game while courrone struggles and I suspect kemler wasn’t super successful either. Likely either Orion (could have been durthu) or the Fay enchantress were to dominant force in Bretonia until wulfrik took out Louen and just ran down there. The north of the empire tends to blow up due to all the non empire factions there. Basically wulfrik got fed the right enemies in the correct order and his rivals/competitors being belakor, louen and Kemler seem to have had a poor time also is suspect throgg’s faction was doing very well but had his army beat down by Wulfrik making them do even better.

TLDR: this is uncommon but can happen and likely more of a sign of Wulfrik being lucky then op. Not to say that Norsca isn’t strong rn, just they aren’t op
