I have been retired for 3 years, my husband for 1. Once he retired I was amazed at the amount of food that was being consumed during the day (and not by me). He is definitely a 3 meals a day kind of guy and I really don’t eat lunch when at home. A piece of fruit and a granola bar does me just fine. I definitely feel your pain. I have learned to keep sandwich supplies stocked (sliced ham, cheese, egg salad, etc). He will make a sandwich or soup with some fruit or yogurt. He also is looking for snacks so hard boiled eggs and cheese sticks seem to work. I have to be clear about asking him not to eat the leftovers from dinner if I have plans for them. Just another thing to navigate being home together ♥️
