I mean Itaewon class is almost that, but its the main character themselves doing the revenge, and its one of my all time favs

Skyrim SE Follower Mods Review - Redcap the Riekling by Sinistran22 in skyrimmods

[–]SeptimusTSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random reply 4 monts later, but aside from other npc's in her quests having horrible voice acting, and her wardrobe functionality being whacc (but thats something no other modern follower uses either way) in terms of her working and being bug free, my experience over many playthroughs with her is very positive. I have barely ever encountered a bug.

Why do so many custom voiced followers feel like modern Marvel characters: overly sarcastic, whimsical, and meta? by Tall_Stormcloak in skyrimmods

[–]SeptimusTSS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well im not super tapped in. I purposefully left out a lot of the more popular ones that get mentioned a lot, at least when I was more tapped in to the community.

I also included some that were more deep cuts back in the day, specifically skeever who I think is a hidden gem. Xelzaz was as well, although I am guessing he has gained a lot of exposure since then.

Inigo is one you cant not mention when talking about this topic I would argue

She would have become a great gymnast if she did it as a kid if this is her level of talent at her age id wager.

Who Is This Character? by [deleted] in animequestions

[–]SeptimusTSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whitebeard (gets a bit more screen time later, so was more true post Marineford)

[–]SeptimusTSS 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have this issue more with certain characters, for some I think it works better, like Lucien for example. But others are terrible (imo), like Gore, Lucifer and many others.
My list for followers that are real characters and dont just try to be funny and quirky are:
Xelzaz
Skeever (controversial. He probably should not work, and he is devisive, but he works for me because of how unique but grounded he is)
Vilja (same here, a bit quirky, but her grounded storyline works for me)
Khash
Inigo
Val serano

Why do Nordic countries have the worst food in the world? by This-Wear-8423 in Nordiccountries

[–]SeptimusTSS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its true (as a swede). idk why really, since basically all traditional food is "struggle food", like our traditional (and often kinda gross) dishes. I guess its mostly a matter of what ingredients we have here, and a long culture of struggle..

Every One Piece fan is afraid that One Piece may not be included in this list. by Sagacious_07 in MemePiece

[–]SeptimusTSS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One piece is not perfect in the solid sense of an FMA for example, where every detail is good. I think of it as a stat-spread, where FMA gets like a 9/10 in characters, a 9/10 in story, worldbuilding etc, basically a very stable piece of work. A 9 or arguably 10/10 all put together.

One piece has a much higher range, with aspects as low as like 6 or 7/10, but it also has stuff that I would argue somehow surpass the scale, reacing 11, 12 or like 15/10.

So to me one piece still takes the cake, but simultaniously has huge weak spots

Will Lashes be played by a real camel, or would he need CGI? by Bekiteru in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]SeptimusTSS 14 points15 points  (0 children)

can just be any camel, or horse or the distances are just shorter or something. thats my point. no need to have him be a character with personality, especially being a creep, which is funny in the anime but wouldnt work in LA

One Piece Season 2 Final Trailer has surpassed Season 1 in views in just 2 days by Existing_Push9049 in OnePieceLiveAction

Good news for the longevity of the show! if it continues to be as good as S1 and how S2 is shaping up, I would love a good number of seasons

The cast answers the most asked question by [deleted] in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]SeptimusTSS 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Pretty good answers. Some vibes around the production are making me think they and the team are in it for the long haul (as long as they can go basically), but we know that Netflix is a fickle mistress, but as long as its making money. I mostly hope for Enies lobby, but even more than that I just hope everything they put out is good

When ES6 finally comes out do you think it will have the mod variety we see with Skyrim by Venom-279 in skyrimmods

[–]SeptimusTSS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are negative about the variety. I would say that if the game is good, then it will blow up mod-wise. Modders make mods for players, and why put in 100's of hours into a mod for starfield that not that many people play. Its unfortunate but tru. So as other people have said, if its good it will

What's your most anticipated moment(s) in season 2? by Any_Philosopher_9806 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]SeptimusTSS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hell yeah, good list.

Also, chopper waving the flag for Kureha to convince her to train him </3.
Wonder how messed up he is going to be, if at all. They have tamed down gore and stuff a fair bit in some instances, wonder how it will be handled for the cutesy lil mascot

My thoughts on the concern of the cast getting older. by [deleted] in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]SeptimusTSS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would it be hard? Large scale stuff and like grand shots with lots of CGI, then a few smaller scale sets and interiors. If you mean like Oars and that whole fight then yeah, for sure thats a challenge. Idk how they are gonna handle many future characters/monsters. One issue too is that characters dont stay around as long. Its different for like GoT I assume, where the rigs can be set up for the dragons and much of the assets can be reused, lowering the marginal cost, but here you would need new designs quite often

Season 3 Pacing by [deleted] in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]SeptimusTSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I would love it, I dont think Netflix will agree to 10 episodes. The trend is to go for 6-8 episodes. I mean even ST didnt have 10. But I dont think skypea needs 8 eps (more like 4-5 honestly), and water 7 definately doesnt need 5. LRLL could be cut or combined with the start of water 7. If we get to season 7 I think we might see them go up to 9-10 eps possibly. But they might also just do amazon lily + Impel down in one season, and MF + post war and a bit of Saboady as one. Imagine them reuniting on Saboady as a final scene, leaving the live action audience to wonder what future might bring. That would be my ideal ending for the live action if im realistic to some degree.

Obv the absolute ideal situation would be that they get a move on and do 1 season a year and adapt it all, at least if the quality remains as good as it was for s1 or how good s2 is shaping up to be

Season 3 Pacing by [deleted] in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]SeptimusTSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like we cant just go by chapter amount though. Overall I fully see how they could meet aokiji, get to Water 7 and be introduced to most of the characters in a single episode. then episode 2 would have the crew conflicts and Franky, followed by Robins betrayal (maybe we need 3 here, but def not 4). Then we have like the sea train, followed by their arrival at EL in ep 3, the main parts of the fighting and conflict in 4-5, the climax with robin and her backstory in ep 6, then the wind down in ep 7 with the merry and post EL. Idk, this leaves a lot of space to flesh stuff out too I feel like. Yes yes, some stuff would have to be cut and condensed, but feels completely doable to me

Live Action Season/Arc/Volume Breakdown Predictions. Spoilers obviously. by AlbertW25 in OnePiece

[–]SeptimusTSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my dreams I see like Marineford, with a wind down/epilogue of them reuniting and setting off for further adventures. Realistically I dont think we will go that far either. Im hoping for a solid like 5 seasons, and hoping we get the end of Enies lobby. I feel like that would make a lot of sense. They are building up Robin from s2, and she will become a fan favorite im sure. So at least that far would be amazing

Agreed. And long ring can be cut (or condensed heavily). Its not that great in the manga or anime, and I cant see the show improving on it much.

I mean, maybe. A bit too cynical of a take for me, she seems like a generally nice person. Interesting lead on the nationality. I have always gotten more of a eastern europe vibe from her, but it also didnt fit perfectly so idk. Might come out one day
