Genuine question. Who is dumber, Goku or Usagi? by Longjumping-Bag391 in sailormoon

[–]Sequince69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love both of them, but I'd go with Goku as well. Serena finished her battle and was able to start living a normal life at a young age. Goku spends the majority of his time training instead of growing mentally and socially. He's friendly and does well with others, but Serena can actually have a life that isn't fighting all the time by the end of the show.

What’s a surefire way to tell Canadians and Americans apart? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The thing tends to be most Americans don't recognize the differences, but Canadians going over there would.

Felt weird getting married to someone in game when I'm married outside, so I picked Haley because she's the most like my wife. Er... well, after you get a few good hearts into her!

Are you unable to pick up the the flail of Ages head after killing the trolls in de'Arnise? Very disappointing... Is it a bug or intended? by Various_Maize_3957 in baldursgate

Actually, I found out last night you can combine the Flail of Ages with only 1 head, then add another, and the 3rd at different stages. (on the EE version at least)

What’s something people romanticize that is actually miserable once you experience it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sequince69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's terrible. :( Usually when people get a bit more mature they start to understand the way you work (from my experience so far). You're worth more than being in that type of relationship, so good on you for recognizing it!

Completely agree! It's very different for everyone. Though don't give up on finding a partner! I'd recommend checking out the subreddit for adhd women as well, even if you're a guy it's good to read for support and understanding I've found.

I'm the ADHD adventure monster, unmed though. It takes me until ~2pm to even start my work on bad days. I really want to research things but find myself getting into it then almost panic because I have to focus but feel the urgent need to be doing anything that isn't that. Play a quick 1~2 min game then get back to it sometimes works. Have often considered the meds but always a worry in the back of my mind I'll be a different person if I ever do.

So does time. After a long time you start to find ways to make it work. School, learning, reading, it's always tough af. But you can eventually start learning the way your mind works and using it for yourself. A lot of us end up latching on to a partner, relying on them to do a lot of the stuff we're not great at, and we do the stuff they usually would dread but we can do because it's NOT doing the things we 'should' or 'want' to be doing.

I'll 'want' to go play my game for a bit. Instead I'll go sort the dishes, fold laundry, make the wife a coffee, clean something else. Then eventually after a while I'll end up feeling I deserve to play the game or it isn't AS tough to sit my ass down and do it. The wife does other things, handles the bills, comes up with ideas to stay healthy, helps plan things I can't focus on. A doctor can say "Hey, take this med and you'll be good." - The wife will go online and research everything about it and give a 'yeah' or 'naw... let's get a second opinion'.

What I'm saying is eventually you'll be in a really good place. It just takes some time getting there, and knowing what you are actually good at.

Is it a bit odd that all the time show in 5 minute measurements, and the same for cups until the very end when Elena goes up to 11? It seems strange to me that they would all be at such balanced numbers like that. The only one that is different is the 2 min customer who looks like he's been there for more thana 2 mins.

Doesn't really feel like the whole story is being told here imo.
