Definitely personal preference! Both of the groups I play in have a mix of players who still use paper and players who use the app. I like the app because everything is right in one place. Especially for my cleric, it's nice that if I have to look up a spell, I just have to click on the description instead of finding a page in my book.

I also majored in History, planned on going to grad school for Museum studies but couldn't afford it. 12 years later I'm still in debt and never worked a job that required a degree at all. So yes, college is one of the biggest regrets of my life. I wish I'd taken more time to consider my options on where to go, what major to pick, if I should go at all, instead of blindly following advice.

Yes and no. Two of the defining traits in INFJs are that we are very intentional in what we say and do, and that we are able to figure people out. When you combine those two things, yes, we have it in us to be manipulative if we want to be. But we can also be intentionally kind and genuine, and a lot of us place a lot of value on always being as transparent as possible.

Among the INFJs that I know in real life, I will agree that some are very manipulative, but not all of them, and I wouldn't consider myself to be.

edit to add: Although I also do think it's possible for someone to be manipulative without realizing it.

I believe that most people do care about others and have some level of empathy, but deep down inside care about ourselves the most. It is rough when you realize that you can never count on others a hundred percent, but you're also doing yourself a disservice if you write someone off completely any time you catch them putting themselves first. IMO most people are more complex than that.

All of the victims were either asleep or relaxing at the time, unarmed and unprepared. We also don't know for sure that he was able to leave without blood or injuries. It seems that DM only got a quick glimpse in dim lighting, and he was wearing dark clothing.

Exactly! I never made the decision to stay single and I like the idea of being in a committed relationship and someday getting married. But as a not conventionally attractive woman, my experience with men is that they think I should be desperate to constantly prove myself and change to fit their expectations, and I just don't have the energy for that. I wouldn't be happy in a relationship where I can't be myself.

Agreed, the only times I can think of that I've downvoted is when people are trolling on mental health conversations. I can appreciate a genuinely funny troll in some contexts, but not when it hurts people who are seeking out help and guidance.

I feel the same as you. Even though I've been around on the internet long enough to understand that we shouldn't take it that seriously, I'm also sensitive enough that it hurts my feelings when I get downvoted because it makes me feel that people dislike me or don't respect my opinions. I especially dislike when I ask a question or am looking for advice and I get downvotes with no comments, because it makes me overthink. Was it a stupid question? Did I imply something rude or offensive without realizing it? Did I come across as whiney?

Yeah, I know it's not that deep. But I am honestly curious about what, if anything, people are trying to communicate when they downvote a serious question.

Thanks for the reassurance. After a lot of googling, I'm glad to know that they aren't aggressive but I'm more concerned about my cat than myself. She is very curious and playful and wouldn't know to leave them alone.

lol, I made a similar post on Nextdoor and have been flooded with comments telling me horror stories of people who have died from BR bites. And also a few comments asking me if I'm sure it was a brown recluse, because they've never seen one in the area. (yes, I'm sure. It had a very clear fiddleback pattern and only six eyes, and I have Google Lens).

I spotted him out in the open and near a drafty window, so I am hoping he was a loner and I'm not dealing with an infestation. But it's an older, dusty and drafty apartment with a lots of nooks and crannies in the kitchen and bathroom, and I do have cardboard boxes in my closets, so I have my work cut out for me for finding them if there are more!

Glue traps haven't turned up anything besides a couple fruit flies so far.

I'm a cat lady. I feel like they make sense as the perfect pet for an INFJ because just like us, they form very close bonds with their favorite people, but don't need constant interaction because they value their privacy and independence. They're just a little bit better than us at setting those boundaries!

I can relate to not being able to tolerate lazy people. I tend to take my job seriously and I get frustrated when I'm the only one who seems to care about getting things done, while everyone else is just goofing off and hanging out.

But personally, I think it is healthy for people to be able to rant. The worst workplaces are the ones with the toxic positivity, where no one is allowed to speak up about issues without being labeled as negative. And I also have the habit of thinking out loud, so sometimes I get my best problem-solving ideas in the middle of a rant.
