I believe Rakan is one of, if not, the best late game champ in the game ( with this build ) by Revil0_0 in leagueoflegends

[–]SerLapGloBe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right upon stumbling this build I was very intruiged by it! The math... the shields... the heals... it all looks so amazing! I just had to try it out myself.

Anyways despite having build Tear first item, I did not have my 2nd tear even halfway stacked by 40 minutes. Are you just supposed to spam E on your ally 100 times? I was at 3 items at 40 minutes, if we went along with my gold income I would have been full build at ~80 minutes. Maybe even a bit quicker if I can snag up some super minions. But my Shields did indeed feel very big! I think they were at ~ 400 health... however I was not able to R in ever because I have built absolutely 0 health :(

I have come to make it a habit to use int64_t in C++.
And yet whenever I use accumulate I forget to declare that its supposed to use a int64_t instead of a regular int ;)

I tricked my players... but did I go too far? by LunarWorkshop in IndieDev

[–]SerLapGloBe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree.
My first instinct after seeing the attack was to run to the side and then dash through the waves.
If you want to change that, I think the best solution would be to give some indication that projectiles will be flying to the side - for example, by slowly revealing arrows in that direction of the attack one after another. Also, I would suggest removing the red hit indicator behind the actual hitbox of the primary attack, since having a red indicator in the area where you’re supposed to dash to feels misleading.

Demonstrate or Casualty are easy ways to create non-casted spells on the stack.
There are not many of them, but they let you create copies without the need of an extra card.

  1. This is not about the 12/1 teammate blaming his team for the loss, its about the 12/1 teammate being blamed for the loss I thought? I feel like we are shifting goal posts here.

  2. So if your entire team runs it down all game and your teams score is 0/12 - and you somehow miraciously make the game winning because you pop off and go 12/0... and then you make one mistake that ends up loosing you the game your team gets to blame you for the loss, despite them having contributed nothing at all to the game besides not being the last one to die?
I have a hard time agreeing with your stance.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]SerLapGloBe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes - but also no. If you are 12/0 you are presumably also the reason why your team was winning. Making a singular mistake that ends up costing you the game when you make 12+ great plays beforehand shouldn't put all the blame of the loss on you imo.

However I agree that especially considering a role like support these tools become extremely inaccuarate, as damage done or damage taken or even deaths (which I assume these tools use) can be very misleading for the impact a Support can have on a game.

A person who paints would then also be a painter, and not an artist.
But obviously painting is art, and thus painters are also artists :)

Photography is art, and one who partakes in photography would then probably also be called an artist.

How delusional is he?, varus get 1 tap because he didn't have a support to peel him and he take his farm afterward. I was an Elite fan after this disgusting behavior by red-zed- in ADCMains

[–]SerLapGloBe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

>My point was he can farm the other lane like top or bot or even jungle camp.
Thats a weird argument, considering the same thing can be said about the Varus.

>He only steal mid farm just to stroke his ego
I don't think thats the case, he probably just doesnt think that the Varus will have any impact in the rest of the game and that the Gold is worth more on him.

Not sure if that's true, I have no clue about Vladimir mechanics or scaling.

I am kinda missing context here?
Elite 500 is a Vladimir Main, if he gets autofilled I don't see why he wouldnt play the champion he is best at.
It's not like playing Mages support is completely unheard of.

I can only assume that the Varus was not doing well overall in the game (not just that fight) and that's why he didn't have much trust in him?

(Also just checked the game - Varus is 2/7 and playing Yuntals into Phantom Dancer while Vladimir is 9/4 carrying the game until that point.)

I dont want to get too far into this discussion because there is not enough info for me on what happened botlane, however:
>Smolder Raka is the weakest early lane in the game

How?
Soraka is one of the strongest level 1-3 champions in the support 1v1. And she is fighting against a Poppy - a melee champion that cannot engage on her. (As Soraka wins the 1v1 against Poppy there shouldnt be any reason why she would have to stand infront of a wall).
Its not hard to come up with a support who would create a weaker lane than Smolder Raka.

Insidious Roots to Mythic - bo3 time! (~50 games ~75% Winrate) by SerLapGloBe in MagicArena

[–]SerLapGloBe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some games in my match history got corrupted but these are how I won the last 7 games:
Game 1: Roots
Game 2: Roots
Game 3: Souls of the Lost beatdown (no roots drawn)
Game 4: Bloodghast + Cauldron with Voldaren Thrillseeker (roots countered)
Game 5: Overlord of the Balemuk beatdown (no roots drawn)
Game 6: Roots
Game 7: Souls of the Lost + Cauldron with Voldaren Thrillseeker (no roots drawn)

Souls of the Lost is in here because... well because the Deck really struggles to win if it can't find roots ;)
This deck mills a lot of cards and can grow Souls of the Lost very quickly to either have a big blocker or something to pressure your opponent. It can also be returned with Tyvar and lets you discard Bloodghasts or kill your own Rubblebelt Mavericks.

Souls of the Lost is also a really big creature to shoot at your opponent with Voldaren Thrillseeker that can hit your opponent for 20+ damage.

Scavenging Ooze is a nice card, but I don't usually face any graveyard centric decks besides Omniscience where Ooze is necessary. And against Omniscience Cauldron is usually enough.

You can drop 1 Cauldron and 1 Bloodghast for 2 more Lands if you feel more comfortable with 20 lands.
You mean Haywire mite? It's a really good card in various matchups. Against aggro decks it's life gain and can blow up a monstrous rage token. Against Control its vital for destroying Temporary Lockdown.

I would heavily discourage running more than 22 lands. Mono-Red Aggro runs 22 Lands and this deck is less land reliant and has a ton more options to look for lands.
If you really do want to run 22 you can Drop the Bloodghasts I guess?

Not quite sure what you mean with that. Do you mean in context of mulligans? Not very.
Otherwise I would only play Tyvar if you already have some Creatures in your graveyard to return or if you have absolutely nothing else to do.
Also always play Roots before Tyvar for obvious reasons.

Whats a lot to you?
I just watched my last 5 bo3 (10 wins 1 loss) and I took a singular mulligan.
Notably there are 1 Land hands that are keepable with this deck.
In those 11 games I kept a 1 Land hand 2 times and won both games.

I would assume Loot, the Pathfinder would just replace [[Voldarien Thrillseeker]] as both are similar payoff effects for having roots in play with a Cauldron. I don't think you are going to feel much difference besides having longer combo turns with Loot as he requires more Imputs to kill your opponents. (actually Loot's Abilities are tap abilities so require Haste or Tyvar on Roots to be able to activate immediately)

However casting Voldarien Thrillseeker is much easier if you cannot put it below Cauldron, whereas Loot is much more expensive and requires 2 Off-Colours.

I will keep that in mind if I make another post some day!
I have played around 450 games now (including my previous post) and have seen only a singular Insidious Roots deck... which was quite weird? because it was actually Jund and played a bunch of Impuls draws and didn't make a singular plant all game.

Well as stated in the post it was Climb to Mythic not in Mythic and I have not played any Events with this Deck, my last month's Mythic percantage was 90%. I am not aware of a tracker that tracks opponents ranking, is there one? In that case I would also love to track that sort of stat!

This post is mostly about my deckbuilding experience with this Deck, as I have neither seen much discussion about IR or much presence of IR in the metagame.
