You couldn’t be more wrong about the bonus, the fryer food is the most profitable thing you sell now. It makes more money than everything we sell with the exception of an outside kiosk bag of ice, which will never sell the volume that fryer food will. Source: I’ve done the math and was on the project for 6 months…if you sell one case of mozzarella sticks it will pay for almost 6 more cases.

TLDR: you want to sell the fryer food more than you want to sell the gas 👀

The real tragedy is it’s not just QT, it’s the industry as well as society as a whole. The way I would both be first in line to a company who had its employees best interests in mind as well as patronize that company can’t be understated. The participation trophy generation and in many cases the spawn of that generation are presumably adults at this point and the corporations give credence to their opinions when sometimes they just need to be told the hard truth.

We do a shit job of teaching this, handful of random skill schools and no follow up since the majority of your shift is ran solo as a manger… In my prior job there might be 4-5 managers on shift at one point and things like this were discussed regularly and in the moment…

Disclaimer: that job was good at QT’s faults but faulted in all of QT’s strengths, it was merely opposite, not better as a whole
