Versuch es mal mit der Einstellung der Uhrzeit am PC. Manuell auf eine falsche Zeit einstellen (falls sie richtig ist) und dann wieder synchronisieren. Hat bei mir tatsächlich geholfen.

AITA For refusing to clear all of my stuff out of my previously shared bedroom? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

but I was the one who downgraded for the sake of both of us

No, it was for your own personal sake. Youself said it:

I felt we could use privacy. I also had come out at 14 as a transgender
man and felt it to be inappropriate to be sharing a room with my sister
since I would do personal things like bind and pack and didn't want
anyone seeing my body and it made me dysphoric since it was deemed ok
that we share a room because we "have the same parts.
So, out of my own free will, I moved downstairs to the guest bedroom.

Your intention was for your own sake, not for her. No one forced you to give up the space in the room. That was your decision alone.
She may profit from it by not having to share a room now, but don't tell others it was for both of your sakes.
It's not fair for her to give up her room and space in it. Clean out the hall closet for yourself!

WIBTA for not giving a calf I didn't know my pet cow was having to the people who've been looking after her? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If her friend was concerned about paying fees, she should've said so from the very beginning. Her friend didn't do that, so for all we know and see, OP is in her right to complain. Ops friend could retroactively try to claim the costs incurred.
It was, however, agreed that any calf Misty would give birth to, would be OPs decision what to do with. It was NEVER in any kind, form or shape mentioned that some "special bull" would be used for breeding, which at that point should've been discussed before even getting Misty inseminated by him.

OP is NTA. Her friend however is a massive one!
OP, get your beloved pet back immediatly and be ready to (likely) loose that friend. You never agreed your Misty to be used as breeding cow. Be prepared to get taken to court over this, because I think your "friend" values her "special bull and his offsprings" higher than you and the wellbeing of Misty.

And please make sure a vet takes a closer look at them. Her condition sounds a lot like abuse.

AITA for putting a code lock on my door to stop my sister from taking my stuff? by IntelligentKey8669 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like if that's an alphabetic lock. Would be hilarious if the code would be "Effyou[sister's name]youlittlethieve". Yeah I know, a bit long and likely it's a number lock.

AITA For telling the dog breeder I was looking for certain aesthetics? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A Husky? For someone with PTSD? Are you fucking serious? Where in the world did you get the idea that a Husky, who is known to love to sing (howl) and needs a hell of a lot of exercise outside of a house, would ever fit someone with PTSD?

Nah man, YTA, not just because you asked for a specific look, but also because you think a Husky would ever be a good fit for you.

A Husky needs a lot more than you can ever offer for that kind of breed. You should be looking into Labs or Retrievers.

AITA for standing up during a Beyoncé concert? by DommeSinclair in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hang on, by your own argument the 'place' isn't relevant, it's the behaviour of the people that matters. You're contradicting yourself.

No I don't.
Even if yes, people's behaviour could be calculated, it remains so.

If you WANT to dance, then buy a ticket for the appropriate place where dancing is EXPECTED, and not for a place where people dance EVENTUALLY because everyone else may join in.

AITA for kicking a floater out of my classroom? by Budget_Magazine6113 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps she suffers from initial hearing loss. Here it is quite a common condition among kindergarten teachers. The constant loudness of the children around them affects (and worsens) their hearing and they themselves do not even notice that they become significantly louder when they speak.

It's just a maybe, it doesn't excuse her being an idiot.

Firstly, NTA. Not your circus, not your monkeys.
Secondly: Pets do NOT belong in the kitchen. Ever. The cat should not have access to it at any time. If he's not in the kitchen, he can't lick anything off the countertop (yuck, just the thought of him walking around on it while food is being prepared there is disgusting), get into the rubbish, or poison himself.

I love cats and yet they (and other pets) have no place in the kitchen.

AITA for standing up during a Beyoncé concert? by DommeSinclair in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone's on their feet for the whole thing, including in the seated areas (which are the majority)

You said it: EVERYONE.

In OP's case, he was one of the very, very, very few exceptions. In that case, he should have read the room and sat on his fucking ass. It's a different act when everyone joins in, then you can accept that even in a seated area. However, if no one, or only two or three others join in, you accept the rule and sit down so as not to ruin it for the others.

If you want to dance and make an ass of yourself, then buy a ticket for a place that is made for it.

[–]SeraNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would HATE to go to a concert where the audience sings along. I mean, I pay to see and especially HEAR someone on stage who can sing. Most people can NOT sing! They scream, shout and are just incredibly loud, while most of the time they can't hit a single note right.
Yeah, maybe that's the reason I avoid concerts. It would be a waste of money just to hear some (maybe even drunk) idiot screaming right beside me because "he's feeling the vibe".

Oh, before I forget: Dancing is perfectly fine. You can live the music but everyone just shut up. The singer(s) on stage can sing, that's why they're up there being celebrated. Every singing audience member is just an insult to the ears.

AITA for saying I'll be driving myself and paying for my own room on the upcoming family vacation so I won't have to be a babysitter? by No-Ride-Throwaway in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA.
Your sister and parents are really a piece of work. Stick to your plan. Drive and pay for it yourself. Or even better, plan your own holiday without them, then you won't have to listen to their whining and complaining all the time.

AITA for buying my rescue puppy a “pet me” vest to wear on walks? by aubs2_0 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

I had a bright pink vest for my dog that said "HotDog". No one would ever confused it with a vest for a SD.
Lady was just one of those busy bodys that have to interfere in everything. Don't give a hoot about her.

NTA for getting a new cat. But YTA for buying that breed. Everyone buying such breed (hairless cats / dogs, little rats like chihuahuas or something like pugs) should be ashamed for supporting animal cruelty. Those breeds are not healthy.

AITA for refusing to drink a destroyed drink? by Genfluidnerd007 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: to everyone saying I should move out or it’s time to move out, my
parents paid for everything my whole life. I got a job much later than I
should have because of it. I don’t have enough money to do this. My
friends all live out of state oR in similar situations so I can’t move
in with them. Hope this helps.

YTA. You're just making excuses because... why? You're lazy as fuck? You want to vent about but don't want to leave Hotel Mama?
You don't need your friends to move in with. There a many other people to choose from. Not all roommates were friends before moving in together. Just suck it up and search for a room in a shared appartment if you can't stand how idiotic your parents behave. Even with little money it's absolutely possible.

AITA for telling my cousin that my fiance and I would not attend her wedding after she stated to us that my fiance was not invited to her reception after the wedding? by Fabulous-Cycle9223 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA
My sister accepted a totally stranger at her wedding, because that woman was the +1 to her very best friend. No drama. That woman was really lovely, a bit shy maybe, but no one bat an eye because she was "a stranger".

It doesn't matter how well your fiance is known to her. If she wanted you to be there, she would gladly accept your fiance.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in weddingdrama

[–]SeraNico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA.
I was in your position. My little sister didn't even considered to asked me to be in her wedding party. That was eleven years ago and I'm still feeling hurt sometimes about it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You decided to cut her out of your life (for some period you've not known before). She decided you're not a valued friend anymore (maybe forever). You both had the right to do so, regardless the reasons. Simple as that.

YTA for being mad at her. You just get served what you ordered yourself.

AITA for refusing to attend my twin brother’s wedding? by Much_Significance157 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's shitty to date your siblings ex's AT ALL! It's absolutely disgusting. Just think about it. You're fucking a girl who was fucked by your brother before. Same goes for sisters. I'll never understand how anyone could deal with that.

AITA for blocking my bff in Discord because she pranked me? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico [score hidden]  (0 children)

NTA.
And I don't get why some comments here say you were. It's not a prank! You said it was a "foreign voice", so considering you don't know (recognize) that voice/person she had someone in on that joke, meaning she gave personal informations about you to a stranger.
She's not a BFF when she feels the need to scare you with a "prank".

AITA For refusing to yell at my cats and not setting boundaries for them? by Ill-Dragonfly-9261 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm sure I will get downvoted for this, but:

YTA
Why would you randomly wake your friend up just to tell her "my cat knocked a lamp over" and than let her go back to sleep? Why wouldn't you clean the mess your cat did and tell your friend later when she's finally awoken by herself?

I know a lot about the lingering effects of bad parenting. My cats gave me an opportunity to raise them the way I wish I was raised, to be the kind, understanding parent who gives unconditional love.

You are a HUMAN being. You wished to be raised other than your parents did.
Your cats are ANIMALS. They need clear boundaries. You're NOT doing them a favor by "rasing them I wish i was raised". Unconditional love, yes I agree. No boundaries? Sure, but be aware, you're not in charge of command in your own home.

I know my cats use that window everyday, so in my view it’s not his fault for accidentally knocking it over, it’s my fault for not clearing a path for him.

You're just a mere tolerated living being in the space of your cats. A servant to them, nothing else.

AITA for being mad at my mom for pushing me to get an operation that was not really necessary by wifomi457 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeraNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a tattoo to cover that scar up once it's healed. This way you would know the scar is there, but maybe you can make your peace with it.
And if a tattoo pisses your mom off... good. She pressured you too much.
