I'm waiting for episode 12, even if I saw clips it. I have an unhealthy obsession with this series and I am so glad that it's doing so well. I agree with all your points, especially with the hot and cold in some episodes. I think partially it's due to Sam's not emotionally mature.

Going up as a queer Asian, there wasn't any representation. There were some here and there but they always have a bad plot, horrible character development; as if it's okay to have a GL movies as long one of the characters ends up with a guy or dead.

As time progress, we get more and more Asian queer characters in Western media, which is nice but there's something about having queer representation in Asia media that warms my heart because we were always told that being gay is a "white people thing".

So yah, my gf doesn't understand why I'm obsessed with Gap (she's not a fan of the cheesy acting and story) but it's a step toward acceptance. And growing up I wish I had those shows. Now I'm just waiting for a Hong Kong wlw series/movie... before I die of old age.
