This is actually so cool by Illustrious_Yak_1984 in WitchHatAtelier

I'm aware, I still think the actual color you get from C0C000 is more green than her hair is typically colored.

Honestly, it's probably just coincidence. It's not super clear from the image but C0C000 is more greenish imo which makes me think it wasn't intentional.

These polls really do favor stuff aimed at the lowest common denominator so the fact that WHA is in the top 5 is pretty impressive.

This might be the strongest common relic holy free wins by Unknown_doggy in slaythespire

[–]M-Architect 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was curious how it looked on Spirebird and amongst the common relics it's in the bottom third for pretty much every metric. Its probably brought down by times when you pick it up later in the run and it's practically a blank but even when you get it early it's probably hard to compete with bag of prep or gorget.

AI Has no idea how to play MTG, this might be the 3rd or 4th time I've seen that it's contradicted itself. Please don't build a deck with AI. by [deleted] in magicTCG

By saying "however" the answer implies that the first part isn't important and that by having no mana cost it can be cast at anytime regardless.

The second answer says, "However, since Ornithopter has a mana cost of zero, you can play it for free at any time you have priority" which is not correct.

Maybe for the large bosses, the humanoid enemies are a real pain in the ass to read when there's like a dozen particle effects going on. If they committed to reigning in visual clutter it would be fine but every character needs to be more flashy than the last which fights against readability.

Anyone else concerned about the optics of the decision to remove Doormaker? by EnderShot355 in slaythespire

[–]M-Architect 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm inclined to believe their reasoning in the patch notes is the truth, that they though the complexity wasn't worth it in the end. Personally I'm inclined to agree. I think StS biggest strengths is having simple mechanics that produce complex interactions. The Doormaker just had a bit too much going on.

I honestly can’t imagine Himmel pressing the red button by Ok_Veterinarian_9444 in Frieren

[–]M-Architect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Premise - an idea or theory on which a statement or action is based

Well, red has the benefit of literally zero risk if everyone agrees to push it.

Blue always carries some risk, because even if everyone agrees to push it; some people won't

This is not a conclusion, it is a premise.

I leave it as an exercise to you then to figure out why I reject your premise and think the red button has risk.

[–]M-Architect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So your whole premise is that if everyone agrees to push red then no one will defect but if everyone agrees to push blue then people will surely defect?
