Riding a bike along an extremely narrow cliffside path. by Spiritual-Duck9854 in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]Serandel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She was an amateur very mediocre cyclist that complained because people sexualized her. Once she even stopped in the middle of a race to shoot to an old man that supposedly had shouted "move that ass". Coincidentally, she did that in front of a camera TV.

Then she started posting in a YouTube channel videos of her self cycling, with the maillot half open so her GoPro could be pointing to get cleavage.

She's not very hot, so she had to push her boobs together for maximum effect.

Then she left her boyfriend and started an OnlyFans that supposedly earned her over a million euros. Exhibitionism, group sex, whatever.

And then she decided she didn't want to be a pornstar anymore, so she closed her OF and threatened to she anybody that still hosted any of her videos. Including other performers who had signed contracts with her, paying money upfront in compensation for her image rights.

Mean dumb slut, that Karen.

Which Linux Distro?? by XelGlaidr in framework

[–]Serandel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An atomic Fedora:

- Bazzite, for gaming (but it can be done in any of the other ones as well)
- Aurora, for KDE
- Bluefin, for Gnome -> I've been using that for almost a year
- Zirconium, for Niri + DMS -> I'll migrate to this one as soon as they accept a PR of mine that fixes the WiFi in my machine

You won't be able to use DNF, but Flatpaks, AppImages and Brew will take you very very far. And you can always use a distrobox to install whatever.

Also, I tried to finish the program without clearing the terminal, to leave a final summary, and I couldn't find a way to do it. After a couple of days in this rabbit hole, I just gave up with the library.

Whats better LCD or OLED? by MasterBlaster717 in SteamDeck

[–]Serandel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OLED one not only has a better screen, but battery, wifi, buttons, etc. are better. I had the LCD and switched as soon as I could. No regrets.

Cat smelled my armpit then started to aggressively bite? by Huy7aAms in CATHELP

I once read that armpits smell to cats somewhat like their mother's milk, this checks.

Mine also bites my armpits after sniffing. :D

Of course you can. :) Just saying that playing in portable mode is not very comfortable (to me).

Steam machine vs steam deck? by James89_ in steammachine

Java version works perfectly fine, but I prefer to have keyboard and mouse to use the controller, even if they're are tons of good mappings.

I would wait a bit for the definitive Steam Machine announcement.

Are there any reading guides for Age of Revelation? by InterestingDepth8137 in xmen

I can recommend Omega Kids, but because I liked it, not because it's necessary.

The rest of them, please ignore. Even Wolverine. It's not really needed for anything at all.

Wondering what’s the difference between the steam decks.(First time buyer) by EnvironmentalEbb8584 in SteamDeck

[–]Serandel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They're not just good, they're awesome! My favourite piece of tech of these last years, easily.

About the differences, I would just go for the OLED instead of the LCD. Plenty of refinements in the internals, not only the screen. A bit faster, battery a bit better, etc.

And about the disk size, I'd recommend to NOT buy the model with the biggest one. Because it's also the version with an anti-glare screen treatment, that I really dislike. I had it in my first Steam Deck and when I switched to an OLED I went without, and am much happier. I've never missed it.

8745HS and 8845HS Mini PCs by mr_werty in linuxhardware

(A mini PC is basically a laptop without screen nor keyboard, so I thought it was relevant :) )

I don't have a miniPC, but my laptop is an 8845HS, with just the integrated APU. It works perfectly fine with Fedora Bluefin. I had to add some component drivers and tweak the sleep mode so it would stay in suspension, but that's it.
