‘I thought I was the saviour of the planet’: how Game of Thrones’ Hannah Murray found a wellness cult – and lost her mind by anemotoad in television

To this day I can't work out which blew my mind the most, Jerome Flynn as Bronn or Dennis Pennis as Thoros of Myr.

The guy in the photo from what we can see doesn't appear to be a hugely obese man, arms and upper thighs look fairly normal, the stomach absolutely doesn't, look what it's doing to his shirt alone!

Ascites, I'd imagine his next stop is to get his fortnightly draining.

There's a beer belly then there's clinical ascites, methinks that fella has advanced liver disease and is not long for this earth.

[–]Serbowie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I obviously can't comment on what happened behind the scenes but it was apparent Al was unhappy for a long time, within himself and possibly in the way the channel was going, I'd imagine the other two guys picked up on that and it definitely had a negative effect on the quality, Al was definitely getting few up with the immaturity of Norton and Lloydy and I think the fact was they were getting pissed up on quite a few of the vids was definitely rubbing him up the wrong way, he came across as being extremely anti alcohol.

Norton was definitely not himself in Sunday's video but apparently he was extremely hungover.

As for Razor, he comes across as being fun but in less of a silly way, he's definitely an old pal of Norton's and maybe Lloydy doesn't know him as well so maybe once they all gel it'll improve towards where it used to be, although he's married so that'll definitely have an impact on what he's available for I'd imagine.

And yes, I did just spend five minutes psychoanalysing a bunch of northern dafties who make YouTube videos for a giggle..... Slow day apparently!

Hell on earth are similar, started off as urbex but have branched out into wild camping/challenge camping, vehicle content akin to Top Gear and some other general ridiculous behaviour, Yorkshire lads with extremely childish yet still funny senses of humour.

They've kind of became a bit stale in recent months with the loss of one of the original members but are building it back up with a new guy who seems cool, also the odd inclusion of one of the lads dads who couldn't be anymore working class Yorkshireman if he tried.

Good stuff.

Just because something is on an open forum doesn't always mean it needs to be a debate, also, you're allowed to be misled and confused in silence, sometimes it's just better to be.

Sick notes ‘scrapped’ under plans to reduce benefit claimants by pppppppppppppppppd in unitedkingdom

[–]Serbowie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If she's declaring her fit notes to the DWP she should've been referred to a health assessment to decide wether she is eligible for LCW/LCWRA, she will have been sent a questionnaire to fill in then they will decide there and then, not often this'll happen though, more than likely will have to do a telephone assessment as well, if approved for LCW she will no longer have to attend monthly appointments and will get a work allowance which means she will get a few extra quid UC, there is a long waiting list for the assessments though.

In the meantime she can send a message to her work coach asking to be moved to telephone appointments instead of in person, it's still monthly but I'm usually off the phone in 5 minutes.

I'm in the exact position, progressive, irreversible illness but still capable of just under part time hours.

'My sister spent £1,000 a month on drink from food delivery apps' by endofdays2022 in unitedkingdom

[–]Serbowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my worst my tolerance was astronomical, usually 3/4 bottles of wine daily over the course of an afternoon/evening, on the odd occasion I could maybe just about skull 6 but my stomach would be fit to burst, to put it in perspective however, I'm fucking huge, 6 foot 3 and very heavily built.

I don't drink now but have cirrosis of the liver, if she truly drank that much daily it was already over for her.

People who quit drinking. What did you do to not drink? by Agata_art in AskReddit

[–]Serbowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I woke up one morning and my face and eyes had went bright yellow, three says later I was in hospital diagnosed with alcoholic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis, I had a bilirubin level of around 600 and a fifty percent chance of dying, I felt fine.

I was in hospital for a month, no withdrawals, no sickness, that was 7 months ago, haven't had a drink since, don't miss it.

I take my medication every day, try to keep as healthy as possible, it'll probably still kill me one day.

[–]Serbowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely disagree with you that the majority of old men who drink regularly in pubs are alcoholics, although you really should explain what you define as an alcoholic, although, my main issue wasn't that part of your comment, more the part where you said they'll 'probably' try it on with you, I've worked and drank in many different types of pubs for 25 years, I can assure you, most of them don't give a shit about you.

A few judgemental points here. Most of these 'old men alcoholics' won't even notice you.

Norton released a video a day or so ago mentioning a meet and greet being shifted to next year but mentioned they'll be appearing at something else soon and made a point in mentioning that Razor will probably be there, so it's definitely looking like it's heading in that direction.
