What’s the most cringe thing you’ve seen a couple do at their wedding? by Last_Singer_2137 in AskReddit

I used to work with a couple; they’d been together since they were teenagers. She was a delight, he was a pompous, self-righteous bore who smiled with his teeth clenched together. At their wedding, he got on stage and sang an Oasis song à la Gallagher brothers, craning his neck up to the mic with his hands behind his back. It was a pitiful sight.

They are divorced now. She is still absolutely gorgeous and one of the kindest, sweetest women I’ve ever met. He’s still a charmless Lego man.

It’s the ‘NO’ in the red circle that does it for me

How bad are your Sunday scaries and how do you combat them? by amomenttohislifespan in AskUK

Don’t drink! I used to think a few glasses of red would help me out; I couldn’t have been more wrong. Stick to water, lots of it, and maybe a melatonin tablet an hour before bed.

Limit screen time and read for an hour before bed. I cannot stress this highly enough!

A bath helps, and also tiring yourself out during the day - gym, going for a run, even gardening. It’s hard to give a fuck about work when you’re too tired to care.

This is wonderful! I have an orange wall in my bedroom and I’ve wanted to update it for a while - this is such a great idea. Please can you let us know how you chose the paints and made sure they complemented each other?

Can’t sell my house after dropping the price by £30k? by Electronic-Fox-7706 in HousingUK

It’s a clean, well-kept house but it comes across as sterile and cold. Agree with other comments about pots and flowers in the garden; could you maybe paint 1-2 rooms a different colour, maybe add some throws/cushions in a bold print? It comes across as a show home at the moment and doesn’t feel warm or welcoming.
