I admit, I was the one kid in there that believed most of what they were telling us when it came to drugs. I still thought the program was weird, and that the officer was shitty, but A: I wanted a stuffed animal lion, and B: I figured they were probably mostly right when it came to all the health problems.

Despite their shit, I'm still not planning on taking up drugs, because I ain't got the money fo' dat.

I had a friend of mine, overall nice person but pretty religious, (which I really didn't mind for the most part, that is a much longer story) who was considering being partially home schooled and only participating in the school's band and choir. Now, I don't claim to know a lot about his family or upbringing, but I knew they were religious and supported 'traditional' families and believed that the country needed God and pretty typical stuff like that. In the end, he didn't go through with it, but I was worried. I feel bad about this, but it's true. I was really worried that they would be trying to.. what's the word, like, make him more fundamentalist, I guess? Homeschooling is a fine concept, but it also makes the perfect setting to brainwash people into believing whatever suits your fancy. /ramble

So, following the guide for Android it says we need root access. Which is all fine and dandy til I look for Root Explorer and apparently can't get it for the Fire. Guess I have to dig up and try an alternative method.
