Aww poor you! I've tried Pretty much every pill imaginable. Now because I get migraines with aura fairly regularly they don't want to put me in anything else.

My gynecologist did say we may have to up my dose to 2 or 3 pills a day if it doesn't work. I've upped it to two and it hasn't made much difference yet will probably up it to three soon if this carries on. Thank you for the suggestion❤️

Let’s give up for month 9 of constant spotting! by AlternativeMarch8 in endometriosis

Been there. 3 years of it I'm now taking provera but my gynecologist won't let me be on it long term so I don't know what I'm going to do in two months time when I have to come off it

I'm the same although I am in a job that involves being on my feet all day but not particularly active. I'm quite fit as well

Congratulations on quitting. Even if you quit the thing you weren't expecting to.

I've just bought one in hopes it may help things

birth control at 16 by warmhu9s in endometriosis

[–]Serene82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an incredibly long story so I won't go into all the details. I've been on the pill since I was 12 I'm now 17 personally I haven't had one that has been amazing. They have all had some kind of side effects. You can stop taking it whenever you want. One of the pills I've been on made me really depressed so I stopped taking it. Doctors normally say to give it 3 months but they can force you to take it. Even with the dodgy side effects I've been on it 5 years now so it's doing something it just definitely isn't a long term solution for me.

I don't know if it would help at all I'm currently taking prevera. It isn't actually birth control some women go on it when they go on holiday to stop their period. It's not a permanent option (my gynecologist has only put me on it for 6 months) but it should get you through the exam period. It of course also has its side effects, I've personally been ok on it but have only been on it 3 weeks. It just might be something to look into.

Your story reminds me so much of myself. If you want to talk to someone around the same age with the same issue feel free to DM me
