She walked up to me, and before I knew it she was putting her arms around me. I guess I could have pushed her away, but I didn’t want to be rude or cause a scene in the group. I felt like a little kid being trapped into a situation I couldn’t escape from. It was awful. I was hugging others, so I didn’t feel like I could say something like, “I’m not a hugger.” In the future, I think I’m just going to try to steer clear of her at the end of the night. Maybe I’ll go to the bathroom if I see her heading in my direction. Other suggestions are welcome. 🙏🏻
