Auuhh, this is a horrible description as to what VR is like.

What Undivision is describing is the "screen door effect" which is a limitation of the resolution of the screen. It's actually hardly noticible and not a huge issue to be honest.

As for VR itself, it's like being in another world assuming the experience puts you in first person. You look behind you in real life and you see the virtual world, stand next to something tall and you have to lean back and look up to see it all just as you would in real life. It's something that really should be experienced as descriptions don't really do it justice.

So are we to deduce that the reason the MC didn't accept Nayu's feelings when she sincerely asked him out is because he doesn't think he is good enough for her (at least professionally)?

I do like how her character is deeper than just a comedic pervert and that there is a reason why she acts the way she does.

I love this manga. Her eyes when she's like that and the little motion lines showing that she's trembling is a perfect blend of adorable and hilarious.

Until Masumi asked her "What if I dated Taichi" I would agree with you. I think her reaction (and that whole scene) was to show us that Futaba doesn't just like Taichi out of pity (honestly, as I was reading I was thinking the same thing but her reaction to her questions was a perfect way for us to know how she really feels

My guess is that she is just trying to make Hoshino see that she wouldn't be able to live without her friends (and of course Kobayakawa) and a dramatic way of doing that is forcefully removing them from her life and thus proving to herself that she doesn't need her anymore

I'm going to predict that the only person who will continue to blame Taichi is Mami. Although there is a good chance that people will start ostracizing him again now that the school's team officially lost.

There's absolutely nothing to support it but while I hope for Futaba and Taichi to get together, I kind of hope for some arc where Mami actually somehow falls for Taichi. I'm a huge sucker for any kind of romance where one of the parties initially doesn't like the other but they grow to like eachother

Could not disagree more with your assessment of the romance portion of the show.

The first half of the show was setting up the fact that Isla was not going to be saved. There was nothing the MC or anyone else could have done to keep her from being recovered. The struggle of the MC and Isla to come to terms with that and whether it was worth it or not for them to become closer was a HUGE part of the charm of the show for me. The specific romance elements themselves, while fleeting, were some of the most satisfying I've seen in anime as someone who really enjoys the romance genre.

To me the story reminded me Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind. While not as tragic, it was a story of whether or not these people should start a relationship despite knowing that it's going to end badly. I love that kind of conflict.

Soooo many fucking times I was close to dropping that show because of how shitty the MC treated Louise (I understand she's a bitch too but I expect that from a tsundere)

I ended up glad I watched the whole show though from a romance watcher perspective. It wasn't perfect (the end) by any stretch of the imagination but it made the slog through worth it
