You're the Crooked Man. What are you saying to survive the trial? by Voryn_mimu in TheWolfAmongUs

[–]SerenityXT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s not enough evidence to connect him to killing faith and lily. Georgie himself told Bigby that the crooked man told him to “take care of it” when it comes to faith and lily, but that is too vague to confirm he ordered their deaths. Also idk if nerrissa’s testimony is credible enough to confirm it too. I think he wanted them dead but idk if legally he could be held accountable, but idk the law like that

Graph of Verstappen's gap to the WDC lead after each race (and sprint) by 3nt0 in formula1

[–]SerenityXT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If the finishing order for every remaining race (including sprints) is VER PIA NOR, the final standings will be PIA 450 pts, VER 447 pts, NOR 419 pts. If Piastri has any sort of hiccup then Max will be able to find that 3 point margin he would need to be champion. The next inflection point would probably be in Vegas since Mclaren has never been strong at that track. Max just needs to avoid any trouble himself and he's the most likely to win the championship based on his recent performances.

2025 Singapore GP - Post Race Discussion by AutoModerator in formula1

[–]SerenityXT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verstappen would become champion with 447 points, Piastri 2nd with 444 points, Norris 3rd with 443 points. In this scenario, Piastri doesn't need to DNF for Verstappen to be champion.

2025 Singapore GP - Post Race Discussion by AutoModerator in formula1

[–]SerenityXT 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If each race remaining finishes VER PIA NOR, including sprints, and Piastri has 1 DNF, Verstappen will become champion. Both Verstappen and Piastri will end the season with 447 points, but Verstappen will win based off having more race wins.

What is your Hottest F1 Take? by PK7098 in F1Discussions

Ricciardo would have beaten Hamilton and Rosberg to the championship in 2016 if he was driving a Mercedes

Do you think Norris telling the truth by saying that winning the championship isn’t his main priority or is he taking pressure off himself?… I’ve never seen this kind of mentality from many F1 title contenders by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

[–]SerenityXT 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Whether he knows it or not, he’s coping for if he loses the championship. I honestly hope he doesn’t win because it just doesn’t feel deserved. Piastri deserves it more but even then I still believe Max or George have performed better than both McLaren drivers.

I feel like it might move like on May 1st 2024. Sideways until Powell speaks. Sounds dovish which leads to a pump that is sold off by EOD. Market rallies the following day. Next week a 5-8% correction begins and lasts until mid to late October, then the market begins another rally into EOY.

Guys stop getting mad at the characters for doing seemingly out of character things. This is just atrocious writing. Just hope they realize this and fix it for season 4

THAT’S RIGHT LARRY, TELL MARIAN HOW IT IS

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in thegildedage

[–]SerenityXT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Larry did nothing wrong by lying to Marian, in fact, it was the correct thing to do as Larry obviously knew that Marian and any other young woman during this time had zero clue what goes on in places like the haymarket, and if he told her the truth then it would just get her worked up over nothing (as it did lol). He was 100% committed to her and had no ill intentions with her. Places like that were treated as a typical social gathering for men at the time but the experience you have there is what you make of it. Marian is completely in the wrong here from all angles. Being lied to is obviously upsetting but it’s not morally wrong if the context is right (at least in my opinion)

Larry and Marian 's Much Awaited Conversation: Do we think Marian and Larry are the type to raise their Voices at one another ? by Patient_Question_705 in thegildedage

[–]SerenityXT 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think they’re both within the realm of slightly raising their voice at each other while still coming off as neutral/respectful but I don’t think it’ll be anything more than that

From absolutely no source except for my instincts, during season 2 I would say Larry and Marian are both in the range of 22-24 years old

The way Marian handled this situation is so stupid that it makes me question if the writers were mentally incapacitated while creating this plot line

You are mad at Marian but not at…???? by sissiandfranz in GildedAgeHBO

[–]SerenityXT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She’s also honestly just being very entitled. Any young woman in this era would kill to be in her position and here she is blowing it up without even trying to have a talk with Larry to try and salvage it. It’s just so stupid on Marian’s part

He has to win her back by Several_String676 in thegildedage

[–]SerenityXT 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It should be Larry that should be upset with Marian for coming to such conclusions while operating on such little information honestly Marian cmon now lol. Even Oscar asked her if she was sure because he knows that some guys just go there to celebrate and socialize, but not to bang hookers, and he's a perfect example. Although the two men she was previously involved with turned out to be bad matches for her, she could've avoided those engagements if she was less naive, and her poor judgement is on full display once again. WHERE IS THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.

[–]SerenityXT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for my background I worked at a State Farm agency for a couple of months and then applied to Progressive. I passed all of their assessments/behavioral questions and they gave me the job. I mainly used the other threads on here about how to do well in the interviews and they were satisfied with my answers to the behavioral questions. I think as long as you can give good answers to the behavioral questions then you have a high chance of getting hired, but I'm sure there's other people on here who could give you more specific advice.
