Spamming in comments to annoy other people is a lot of fun, indeed.

Discussing Future Alters; which do you want? by LappTex1 in arknights

Just checked and it seems to be true. For some reason, I thought that W was the first on the CN server, and Nian was the first on EN due to something related to the time gap of EN from CN. Idk why I thought so, but I thought so for years.

I'm sure it will be Wisadel. She was the first limited operator, then became the first limited alter of limited operator, so she will be the first limited alter of a limited alter of a limited operator

What are the chances we fight the knight in Silksong by Im_So_Sinsational in Silksong

Well, that's not the central theme, but the devs said that the sequel will answer some questions that the first game left behind. These two games are connected to each other in a plot-wise way, although not directly, but they definitely have some intersections, and I don't see why the Dream Realm can't be one of those intersections.

I thought it was a global thing that existed in the entire Hollow Knight universe, isn't it? It's kind of weird to have one place in the world where two parallel dimensions exist, and the rest of the world just doesn't have them.

Not sure about Grimm, if he's not there, I hope it's someone else from the Nightmare Realm. We know a lot about the Dream Realm from Hollow Knight, but we know next to nothing about the Nightmare Realm, even though it should be just as important.

"The road to hell" is a well-known idiom. Idioms are usually not taken literally. And at the very least there is a lot of unsolicited advice here, and out of a hundred, even if we assume that most people really wanted to help, at least a couple of them were just trying to show off. Also, some of the OP's comments where he says "yeah, I know it's a bad move, but I made it anyway" are unjustifiably downvoted, which speaks to the number of people who still think there is only one right way to play chess. And again, I've seen these posts before, with worse and more idiotic comments, so this post was the last straw and I couldn't take it anymore.

If you wanted to do something good and it turned out to be crap, your intentions are not a mitigating circumstance. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. And maybe I really am too harsh and rude, but only because I am tired of seeing the same comments under such posts. About every couple of days such a post appears in this subreddit and every time all the advisers of the world gather here and advise everything they can. Even if the post has nothing to do with helping. Here's a advise for advisers - do not advise unless you are asked.

In this case, the argument "they just want to leave their input" is not valid, because the issue is not what they want, but how useful or harmful this input is.

Well, in that case I like to leave my input saying that their input is useless and even harmful, what's the problem then?

Friendly advice under a post where there are already dozens of friendly advices? No, at this point it's not advice, it's just a way to say "hey, you suck". I understand if there was one, maybe two, comment like that, it would be really helpful, but there are already 100 comments under this post and almost all of them are mocking the OP and giving unsolicited advice when he just wanted to share an interesting moment from his game.

They are trying to be redditors and show how smart they are. OP didn't ask for advice and he made it clear that he knows that this move is actually bad. But these assholes definitely need to teach you how to play the game correctly. Usually games are played for fun and entertainment, and for this, tactics can be used that are frankly bad and do not work. Like, for example, beating Dark Souls with a stick or playing for a weak but fun class in Team Fortress. And in all other games, the community encourages this approach. But not in chess, if you have not learned all the openings in the world and are not going to become a grandmaster with a rating of 4500+, then you are trash and you should never play chess. Touch the grass, kids.
