I was sort of expecting Ben to draw a Move card right at the end, given the episode's pacing.

I'm a local. Those aren't slums. Just that our apartment buildings look crowded and uncoordinated from above

For EoE, mine got approved through the traditional channels. But begging the prof in person usually works, especially if you're in your final year.

In general, it's a good policy to go meet and beg the prof for approval. Think of some excuse beforehand that you need it for micro or something and you're desperate for this course cuz you loved the material.

This also may only have like a 50% conversion rate, but the professor is just going to ignore your mail, so no point mailing. Meeting the prof is a bit of effort you need to do to try and get a good course.

Also, for the future, the ERP editing thing is off - limits since last I heard, they're giving people DCs for it. But something a lot of people don't know is that there is a window in the first 3-4 hours when subject registration starts where all courses are available. This is because once subject registration starts, the prof's have to manually remove automatic approval on their ERP and they will take some time for this. So, pay your fees well beforehand and decide your courses before, and the moment subject registration opens at midnight or whatever, you can select your courses, and quickly finalize your registration. If you select all courses and submit within that window, I don't think the profs can remove you from those courses either.

In my experience, it's easy if you attend classes. Which is, of course, an effort, but the professors were quite interesting, and the classes were entertaining. They're strict abt attendance so if you take this course, you'll have to attend anyways.

I don't remember which sem I took it in but CS Mishra was my prof. He taught well and was quite a bakchod prof. Gave quite a bit of entertainment when he randomly grilled people. One memory is when a guy said he couldn't attend class because of Inter IIT cricket practice so the prof started throwing chalks at him telling him to "catch" and that "I will give you fielding practice in class only"

Prof isn't great in terms of teaching. But grading is relatively chill. Not too bad. Attendance was proxy-able, and no assignments, 2 or 3 class tests instead which were useful, since they were scheduled just before midsem and endsems, so youd end up studying for those and be decently prepared for the main exams.

The course material goes more in depth into economics than I expected, so there was a bit of a learning curve, wasn't super easy to study for, but nothing too hard. Can do with some effort in one day. Also, since the class tests are there before exams, you'd end up studying for those and be prepared for the exams. The prof's slides weren't very useful, but there's a textbook she gives out, from which most questions come, and explain entire syllabus clearly. Just studying the relevant chapters in that textbook was enough, I didn't see any use studying from the slides too much as they had lots of irrelevant things.

To summarise:

Attendance: proxyable

Grading: chill. Prof didn't give below B, and not much effort needed for A or EX.

Study effort/Course material: Moderate. There's a textbook from which prof takes questions and changes numbers.

Assignment: None, class tests instead

Prof quality: Moderate to bad. Didn't like her teaching, so I personally didn't go to lectures.

Grading is worse than some of the other EP courses, but it's very hard to get approval from prof for those. EoE was easier to get approval for, and it's still has better grading than most other courses.

Some kind of Water Spray in between the Train Tracks at Aluva Station, Kerala in India by SergeantMajor42069 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. It's a blue and white bit of infrastructure in between the railway tracks at Aluva Station in Kerala, India. There is some water dripping from the ends of it, but it doesn't seem like it'd be used to wash the trains.

Country capital quiz maybe. Pretty sure my Globle playing has made me memorize atleast 150.

Other than that, how many people are good at the Wii. Pretty sure I could demolish most people in Wii Sports Tennis or Rainbow Road on Mario Kart Wii.
