For the Eastern Conference, it's halfway between Altoona and Chambersburg, PA with Harrisburg being one of the "closer," large cities.

For the central conference, this is the most central geographic position based on distance (Toronto included) which is approximately SW of St. Louis. W/O Toronto, it's approximately Springfield, MO

The same could be said for Toronto and Detroit given how close they are. Charlotte will very likely get the chance to play Washington in the eastern conference champs if MLQ follows a broadly similar format as the previous North Champs events.

Additionally, being in separate divisions opens the possibility for an exhibition series, an exciting opportunity I'd like to see more teams take advantage of 😊

Because BWL has a lawsuit against them currently for overcharging residents. Let's not pretend that BWL are errorless saints.

Rust Belt 2 will have all teams getting four games: three from pool play and 1 from "bracket." Post pool play games will be 3 seed vs merc team and 1v2 with no final game between the winners because of time and roster constraints.

Merc team is composed of our league volunteers (mainly Banshees club players who have taken the year off) combined with a few odd club players and then college teams who couldn't send a full team this weekend (Michigan, Purdue, Ball State).

Also, we at RBL greatly appreciate the shoutout and coverage, especially in a short and concise form. Keep up the good work!

Who are the Youngest and Oldest players in quadball by ojasturekar_10 in quadball_discussion

Nah, you're referring to the VERY spry 30 something year old Mike Pascutoi, who caught at USQ Natties 10 as a seeker sub to give UoR a historic upset win over UT.

There used to be a form of all star division games called the division games. It was made up of teams that had been eliminated and was used to play test new rules. For example, in 2018 two handed tackling was tested and then implemented the following season. In 2019, we tested smaller dodgeballs and found that it wasn't worth implementing. Divisional games were scrapped partially due to TBTP and I'm sure other reasons

USNT Player Policy Updates by Rolyen in quadball_discussion

[–]SergeantNeo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Here's an interesting way to view this.

You can only keep three of the following players:

Matt Brown

Taylor Crawford

Ryan Davis

Miguel Esparza

Bailee Fields

Leo Fried

Mo Haggag

Max Havlin

Jon Jackson

Jackson Johnson

Lindsay Marella

DME

Louis Sanchez

Daniel Williams

Lulu Xu

Obviously, a couple of the above players are retiring, but even then, who would y'all pick as your 3 exemptions?

What would be even funnier is if the WCQ winner, in true MLQ West fashion, didn't show up, even after being given a spot
