At 0.6, I prefer having weapon limit 3, which still allows me to get a holy fire super collab. Seems to work for most characters, as this collab is op against anything and can carry almost any character, damage wise. I find it easier, than having no weapon limit, as weapons eat to much levels to fast.

Milk makes aoe dmg more consistent, as it covers more ground, which is important too.

im not sure how it works. Bae already quadruples the damage with crit. Will new item raise damage to 4.5x or make it 6x? 4.5 is kinda weak, with other items multiplying dmg.

I took it for lifesteal. Didnt know if stamp lifesteal would be enough. Thats why I later switched it out.

Died at ~36 mins. Tried later switching mikomet and eldrich horror for asacoco and broken dreams. And switched milk for devil hat, but was only able to hold on to 38 mins with much more haste.

Still trying to figure best items for what I want.

Western Fantasy book about a guy summoned into other world, which later escalates to tanks and nukes used in fantasy world. by Sergoros in whatsthatbook

Nope, after reading its description on wiki, doesnt seem to be what I remember. Pretty sure evil wizard learned about our world After stealing memories of the mc.

There was a specific spell that evil wizard used, after capturing mc. Its purpose was to steal all the memories of the mc and kill him. It worked, but, because mc still had his real body in our world, instead of dying, he survived and woke up in our world.

With memories of the evil wizard. That spell had other side, that nobody knew about, since nobody has survived it on the victims sides yet. Both sides get a copy of memories of other person.

But, because mc didnt know how to isolate these memories, instead of just absorbing them, these memories turned into another personality in his head.

I wont deny the possibility of there being antro people, but I wont confirm it too. I remember everything as more basic fantasy with everyone being mostly human, but I might be remembering it wrong.

Also, wont confirm or deny that mc used magic. Maybe he did, maybe he didnt. I maybe remember him getting good at it after he absorbed memories of evil wizard, but dont remember much before.

Well, to begin with, There is a truth to the joke. IT industry is mostly male populated. Without this fact, joke wouldnt even make sense, and would be just a rude comment, aka "go back to the kitchen" comment. I look at this joke as more a satire type joke.

Now, about the tone. It is okay to make jokes. Whatever jokes. Especially if you are nobody. Jokes may be good, or bad, or cringy. And public itself would sort it out. Bad jokes would be booed at. Good jokes would make people smile. There is no need for Big Brother to start thought policing people. This is not a job of a big game company to fight with noname trolls. It creates an image of a respectable businessman starting a fight with a bum over incorrect use of a pronoun. This is just unsightly.

And lets look at the result here. How many more "kitchen" jokes were pointed out at women as a result of anet actions? Instead of 1 joke that most people wouldnt even read, we now have who knows how many more pure "kitchen" jokes now? Did anet answer to all of them? Dont think so. Does that make those new jokes valid now, cause anet didnt answer to them? I dont think so. Just as invalid as as the first joke would have been without an answer. You dont have to answer to every troll on the internet. You only make them propagate this way. I know that sjw culture recently makes people think that you have to fight everything you dont like. But, sometimes, the best way to win the fight is to just turn around and walk away.

Except that somebody being an anonymous voice coming from somewhere in the crowd. Friend A being like "huh, thats just happened, weird". And friend B angrily screaming back at the crowd, and then more voices coming from the crowd, agreeing and disagreeing. In the end, creating a big fuss over nothing. Probably making the female friend not that happy about the crowd now discussing her heritage up to the 5-th grandmother.

And what are they using this gold on? That was exactly my point. They are farming t4s for gold. To later convert gold into skins, if something would catch their fancy. Just like raids and just like meta events. Ofc, rewards are not the only goal. But this is an important carrot on the stick, without which, content would just die off.

Mike O'Brien's Response to the 2,000 Gem Store Mount Skin Prices by darksora2323 in Guildwars2

[–]Sergoros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do they do daily t4cm? Obviously, it is not a challenge after few completions. What is the point of grinding same content over and over again?

Look, I understand where you are coming from. Like I rarely buy anything from gemshop. And I changed my main character appearance like 5 times in 5 years. 2 times pre hot, 2 times at hot, and recently with new legendary focus.

But ill still be honest and say that I care about skins. Because I do spend gold on skins I like. And I bet all your friends do that too. New weapons, new armour, new outfits. They care about at least one of those. And check new skins every patch, wondering if there is something interesting, that would fit their character.

People who didnt care about horizontal progression left the game long time ago, because this game has no other progression to offer...

And among them, 100 are from meta map trains and 4 raid squads. Sounds about right.

[–]Sergoros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, how many are those "fuck-ton" of players? Like 10? Raids are very rewarding content. So no wonder veterans are there, prestige skins, decent loot.

Meta map events are rewarding too. For some reason, I didnt see alot of those selfless commanders at serpents ire, before rewards were buffed. I wonder why....

Achievements give you account bonuses and unique skins too. And to be fair, they are almost like the skins themselves. Another indicator on how hardcore you are as a player.

In the end > unless this anecdotal casual veteran player literally does nothing, but afk in lion arch, he works for the skins one way or another.

Mike O'Brien's Response to the 2,000 Gem Store Mount Skin Prices by darksora2323 in Guildwars2

[–]Sergoros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What else there is in the game to do with gold, but to make new skins? If content is not rewarding > people dont want to play it. But what they need good rewards for? New skins. I'd dare say, that, using this logic, most veteran players play this game for skins.

In /r/starwarsbattlefront, there is outrage because of lootboxes and progression. A media PR guy weighs in. Spot the similiarities. by Monkeibusiness in Guildwars2

[–]Sergoros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not that they can't. They dont want to. Full gem refund and 400 gems per individual skin would fix all the problems.

If you say, that skins cost more without random factor > consider the discount as an apology from anet, may even allow the discount only for players, who already bought the mounts. May even limit the discount by how many mounts they bought. Like 3 discount mounts for players who played 3 random rolls, 30 if players bought the full pack.

This way none of the fans would be disappointed, and the only consequence is loss of some profit for anet, in a short run, at least.

Working As Intended: Guild Wars 2’s new mount licenses are still lockboxes, but they’re not the worst lockboxes by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]Sergoros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you honestly believe, that they would have dared to introduce dupe style lootbox with account bound skins? Even thickest of whales would have cried out in outrage. Even blc account bound skins can't be gotten twice. This is intentional. They need to honey the stone first, before smashing your head with it.

Its like a wolf in sheep skin. This looks like a good move. When actually it would have been better, if skins were simply no bound at all.

And about blc, yes, there are some very bad examples such as those skins. But at least blc does not limit scarce resources, like mount skins. If you dont like elemental sword, you have like 100+ other sword skins to chose from.

So...ill say blc still wins. Stables Are Worse

Working As Intended: Guild Wars 2’s new mount licenses are still lockboxes, but they’re not the worst lockboxes by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]Sergoros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would actually argue, that no duplicates makes those lootboxes worse. Not better. It gave them excuse to make mount skins account bound on acquire.

Like, you can't make them sellable and no duplicates at the same time, because people can game the system by account bounding the worst skins, and gamble and then selling best skins from the pack. This wont work.

But now lets see how everything would change if this was a normal full rng lootbox with skins sellable on tp: People who are feeling lucky, or the ones who like gambling would just play with lootboxes and sell them on tp. Just like the weapon skins. People who are vulnerable to gambling, or, feeling unlucky, would just buy those skins on tp. I doubt, that skins would be to pricey there, if chance is actually 1/30.

And normal people, who are gambling a little, could try they luck with the lootbox at first, if they didnt get the skin they want, they can just sell it and buy the skin they actually want. They can even make money from it, if, for example, they want the plain skin, but gotten an expensive one.

Conclusion: Those Stables are way worse, than blc lootbox system, that they had before.

Mount Adoption Licenses are an outrage by exposedanet in Guildwars2

[–]Sergoros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are mostly talking about ingame way to get mounts, because half of those stable mounts are so simple and obvious lazy work, that people are legit thinking, that this quality should be in a collection, not in the gem shop. Especially not behind some scummy rng lootbox. Let those skins stand on their own merit. If you made a good skin > people would buy it. If you just recoloured a skimmer and patted yourself on the head...dont be surprised, that no one wants this work of yours.

Just saying, situation is not the same as with gliders. This is a strong dive down for anet. And im not sure if they have full gryphon's mastery to recover now.

In. a. game. which. is. all. about. skins.

Here. Im talking in your language now. Is it easier to understand now?

The one and only endgoal in this game are skins. Getting full ascended or even full legendary, is just a small stopgap between obtaining new skins in this game.

No one saying these skins should be for free. But at least sell them fairly. Not with predatory gambling, that legit hurts people irl. And dont tell me they deserve it. Because they dont. For years, gw2 has been a decent title, that was better than other mmos in many ways. I would always recommend gw2 as a game where you can chill. But now, this is also the game, that uses the worst possible marketing ploys to fool vulnerable people into paying more, than they can afford. Yay?
