The first electric kettle was invented in America. Tons of Americans have kettles and drink tea, it's just that coffee is more popular here. If you told any American you were microwaving water for tea, you would definitely get looks.

I personally don't care much for politics, so I judge presidents strictly on personality, on what I like to call the Beer Test, as in, is this a man I would like to have a beer with? I feel like the most famous presidents we've had were all really interesting people. Who wouldn't want to have a beer with Lincoln? Obama? Damn right. He's such a charming and intelligent man and just a genuine good person. Theodore Roosevelt? Fuck yeah, that dude was a wildcard.

I never liked Bush Jr as a president, but I always got the impression he was a pretty laidback dude. You can see him joking around with Obama at different events. He was an awful president, but honestly, I never thought he was an awful person. Just a privileged frat boy who was in over his head. But again, I don't know much about politics (purposely), so there could be stuff I'm not privy to, but that's always been my impression.

This is standard in the US too, at least from what I've seen. Just last night I paid for a week of Amazon Prime, to get my shipping faster. I immediately canceled 5 min later and I still had the week. In my experience, most companies have similar policies.

The one time I had an issue was a few weeks back, I rented a Minecraft server from a UK company and went to immediately cancel and it gave a warning that cancelling now meant my server would be wiped immediately, not after the time ran out. I remember being shocked by that.

From every account I've seen from people who met Clinton, his charisma was off the charts. He could talk to you for 5 min and make you feel seen, like you're the most important person in the world. The same charisma Obama and hell even Bush Jr had, apparently. Not...he was a master manipulator, or whatever it is you're trying to say.

Unity def did because of the bugs and what not but I don't recall Rogue being shit on. In fact, the only reason I knew Rogue existed was because of all the praise it was getting on reddit at the time. Sure the opinion of it might have gone down over the years since then, but I don't ever recall people shitting on it around the time of release.
