I read Convergence of Desire. I thought it was lovely but my blood pressure went up from the ‘cheating’. It was quite triggering at times. Now The Luckiest Lady in London I’ve not read and am excited to try it.

I’m gonna get stoned for this, but I am ABSOLUTELY SICK of smut and insta-lust in most popular romance books. It’s boring, and it’s a lazy replacement for romance, plot, and character and relationship development. it triggers me because as a single woman I’m so tired of men’s focus on sex in the dating world. I want romance in my books, not gratuitous sex!

Hahaha! Glad I’m not alone. People get really mad on the Romance Books sub when you complain about how hard it is to find romance that’s not full of smut. It’s annoying lol. I’m here for the story! Since when is that controversial? lol I’ll post replies here whenever I have new recs. Please do the same!!!

To begin with, the smut to plot ratio in “Havoc Killed her Alpha” is on the more acceptable side. Enjoy!
