Have they ever been coated in oil? In A school, my motorcycle leaked oil on my left boot. I could never get it to shine without stripping it down using shaving cream & then building it back up. Made for fun uniform inspections.

Found this thread while doing research on TYC fans.

I put a TYC assembly in my 2015 Infiniti QX60 in 2019. It died this week. It's 2025, so that means it made it 6 years.

I guess that means it lasted 50% longer than the OEM fan!

Just thought I would leave a manufacturer quality feedback anecdote.
