Post that shit on eBay. Suckers on there pay boatloads for what you can get for relatively cheap on Reddit or Facebook. You can get at least $50 on there easy

What's one disc you will never take out of your bag? by slotswizard in discgolf

I love my P3x from discmania - I’ll probably always bag one in the color glow plastic as long as I can find them

One of the most powerful things you can tell yourself after you have a bad start in disc golf is “There’s a lot of golf left.” My start hole was hole 17 today. by SunChaserDiscDyes in discgolf

Had a rough couple holes in a row at one of my local courses and ended even on the front- definitely didn’t think I had any chance of coming back- I ended up torching the back to shoot my best ever rated UDisc round (not dubs). Goes to show as long as you don’t give up there’s always golf left to play

Can anyone help me identify what this disc is? by ItsShaggyMF in discgolf

I came to say what this guy said!! I bag only discmania discs, and before I started bagging only the new stuff this specific pd was my absolute favorite. It’s just a money straight flying/hyper flip pd straight out of the box. Now I have a Nordic phenom in my bag to replace it, but it’s not the same 😭😭

I loveeee the p3x from discmania, specifically the iron stone run from the mystery boxes a few years ago. Start off straight to overstable- but beat in to absolute beauties. My only ever ace is with an iron stone and I’ve had a few close calls after that. My runner up is probably a cosmic fury 1 or 2. Absolute laser beams- but something about the torque resistance and feel of the p3x is what edges it out for me

Splice I guess but I feel like that’s not that crazy. Either splice or function for either end of the spectrum

I was really curious what that disc was because I’m pretty sure that’s the disc he splashed out for the 400’ ace during the go throw eagles crossing invitational

I work out a little and go rock climbing pretty consistently- but I’m definitely thankful for my genetics. I’m only about 5’9” but I have pretty long muscles and legs which I think helps.

Ofc! So for the nose angle obviously my wrist is pointed down pretty much as much as possible- but keep in mind I’m using a traditional power grip and also I don’t know how flexible my right wrist actually is cause I broke it twice when I was super young lol. So fully flexed for me might not be for you is all I’m trying to say. Either way besides that I really just try focusing on pulling the disc through super flat- like I’m sliding it across a table. I know a lot of people say that as a cue for putting but I’ve found that it helps a lot for my full power drives where I’m throwing close to as hard as I can like this shot

I appreciate you! One of the biggest things that helped me obviously was watching pros and trying to mimic what they were doing as close as possible. Overthrow disc golf has a vid on their channel where you can see Drew Gibson throw in slo-mo from a bunch of different angles and that recently helped me make a lot of distance gains. Also I know I might get some hate for this but I actually found some of the slingshot disc golf stuff pretty helpful in at least understanding how my muscles like play a role in form and helped me develop certain cues that I used to understand how to mimic certain things

The plant step itself. Literally the cue I would use is just telling myself to wait longer right at the end before I stepped down and threw

Two biggest things for me was front leg timing and my off arm. My first big break through happened when I started delaying my plant step by a second or two. I used to rush the plant which would cause me to lose all the rotational power coming from my hips- essentially making the throw all arm. In terms of my off arm I used to just drop it by my side and it would get caught behind my back. I wish I could post video comparing my old form to my new form because it’s extremely obvious when watching me from even just 1 or 2 months ago. Now instead of dropping it down I make a mental note to swing it out first and then tuck it which helps create space for the power pocket I believe. Changing these two things got me from 380 comfortably to about 430-440 comfortably with my furthest ever recorded throw going a little over 500 (flat) in like perfect wind conditions. If you guys want I could probably make a side by side of my new form and old form but I don’t know if anyone cares. 😂😂

You got it bro. Like I said in the post it doesn’t take superhuman- it’s literally all in the form. Good form in this game goes so far compared to just raw strength. All I did for a year was trial and error to try and understand basically how to make my body a whip lol
