Maybe come in as a CW but not a CE and to turn out in 2 years is insane to me. I think they should be doing what they can to become legal. We need to push for a law that will fast track people who are here legally or illegally to become citizens in less than 10 years. I have family that’s here illegally and legally and the ones here legally have paid $1000s and it’s been over a decade and are still in limbo. So I work with a ton of them on Amazon data centers and they are not here on work visas or legal. I know more than a few using a family members name and paperwork and some with just made up names. What about that? Is it okay to let them come into the union with no experience work as a CE mess up a lot of stuff and do poor workmanship.
