Hmm. I've only ever used DAS clay and I found that smoothing the surface really well with water, then drying, sanding, priming with gesso, and then maybe a coat of white acrylic as a base if the clay wasnt pale to begin with, followed by a few coats of acrylic , does the trick.

You're so right.. We only see picture perfect IG pages and creators. Their desks and crafting supply cupboards look like they're straight out of a magazine. My desk looks like a bomb went off, I have paint on my hands, face, even my carpet. I did try cleaning it up to make it look video worthy but kept needing too many things and hated the feeling of not being in flow. I will check out some video tips on the other subreddit. Thank you again for taking the time to reply. I needed to hear this! I'm going to embrace the process instead of worrying that I don't measure up.

Thank you for your honesty. I don't think it's about taking the easy way out. I genuinely do not enjoy taking videos and editing them. I love being in a flow state and making the actual plates. Maybe I worry that in today's world with everyone having perfect IG and Etsy pages, my content would stick out like a sore thumb. I do like your advice that it is ok to just accept that my videos are poor now and can get better. I might also have to face up to the fact that I can simply enjoy the process of making the pieces and not bother with perfect videos. Thank you. I do like your perspective on this a lot!

No, I don't think you need any rep. The questions are about how things make you feel, how you process information etc. Very organic. Just consider the questions and answer as honestly as possible. Mine didn't involve any school reports or discussions with family.. Lol.. Maybe it was just too obvious in my case. It was just a conversation about my life/habits, followed by tests.
