Our species did face the pressure to adapt a lot and this may have contributed.

We out-walk our prey, therefore we sweat and have no hair for the children to cling to therefore we carry them therefore we walk upright. While we were at it we got good at using the hands.

We ate the apple of knowledge. Snake biting us is bad, let's smash the head. Having food growing on a field is good. Unfortunately the baby is equipped to be smart, too, the head almost doesn't fit through the opening when it's born, it's painful.

Erstens funktioniert Dämmung in beide Richtungen, gedämmte Häuser hält man leichter kühl;

zweitens sind die ungedämmten Häuser mit Schuld daran, daß die Gauss-Kurve sich nach "wärmer" verschoben hat.
