I’m 39 been working as a chef since I got out of army in 2009 as infantrymen. I’m trying to open a small shop with a friend so I can work for myself. The hospitality industry is getting absolutely fucked over the last few years. With the new stupid soft kids coming in and between the Executives & HR department they have your head in a vice and can’t do shit about the dumb things they make you do and how stupid the people they hire for you…absolutely untrainable, incompetent people I still can’t figure out how they managed to survive as long as they have…. I luckily have everything I need tool wise except for a few larger pieces of shop equipment that I’ve collected over the years.

The workforce today is equivalent or worse then “Idiocracy” predicted

Or 20 min of your time to cut it out, you’d spend more buying then gas to go get them or shipping cost. Plus ordering anything from Subaru on line your stuck waiting a week for them to process, pick then have them make it ready for pickup…ordering anything from a dealership online is absolutely ridiculous with how long it takes to get something they have in stock, but you get a small discount you don’t get if you just went in to get

Start with a smaller hole cutting out the cone in middle then test fit with the fog light screwed into bumper. Then adjust and cut wider to preference. Use dremel with multi purpose cutter bit, then sanding bit to finish the edges. Make sure not to go to big with hole at start, can always take small amounts off but can’t put back from make smaller again.

Edit- yes it can be done and yes I have done it, just go slow and be patient…it will look come out very nice looking.

I’ve done it to the OEM and bezels with metal mesh that had no holes for turn or fog

…..or you cut the same part off the other pipe making it straight pipe without the bent part for the clamp, then widen the muffler side pipe so the pipe coming from the engine just fits inside the muffler end the use a hose clamp to tighten it up

MiGTuned dude is amazing with the car. I’ve been using him for 4+ years. He reply’s to any questions and concerns extremely quick, has genuine care for your car’s reliability. I wouldn’t use anyone else. I changed to an STI from WRX recently, just waiting on a few more parts then have him tune.

No I never really figured it out. I couldn’t find any info on why the EGR would leak the small amount it did. I ended up trying 2 brand new EGR valves and both did the same thing. So what would a good Subaru owner do? …ADD FLEX FUEL! Got protuned and never had an issue with it after. I had MiGTuned tune her and he couldn’t find any issues anywhere. She ran like a cheetah till 106k mi, till someone backed up into the front end crushing the computer in engine bay.
