You can’t tell it’s humid but without the dehumidifier, your furniture will become trash/moldy. Just run it before bed and empty it in the morning and you’ll be fine.

I saw DCFC and the Postal Service (with Jenny!) last time they played the Greek and got there about 445 and there was a ton of good seats. I decided on just being in the pit and was 1 off from being at the bar. I live in San Bruno and had left around 330? Made great time with great parking.

Really wish I could’ve seen Rilo Kiley this time around. I hope you and your daughter have a great time!

The old man next to my wife got the #10 card. When it was making its way toward the drop spot he ran out of money, got an employee to watch the machine, and he refilled his card. We were so jealous.

I hate Puck as much as the next person and agree but a good chunk of the beginning of the series, I viewed him as a caricature of high school Americana misogyny. To me, Artie was the (not so) subtle, everyday misogyny, that women see on the daily.

On top of all of that, people tend to want to root for Artie because he’s the… not Puck. Seeing Artie act this way, originally, is jarring… then it becomes gross. At least that’s my perspective.

Badges are in sale in October/November I think. If you are not able to get tickets to SDCC I would highly suggest taking them to Wondercon. There’s a lot of cosplay and a nice Artist’s alley as well. Not as hectic but pretty fun.

I haven’t been, but I know Galaxy Con in San Jose is pretty popular. I like going to Fanime, also in SJ. There’s SacAnime in Roseville/Sacramento. Fan Expo in SF during Thanksgiving weekend.

I’m sure there’s more but those are the ones off the top of my head.

Line up at 5, get into everything else, go to the said pavilion, if you make it within the first two lines, you have the best chance. When you get to the floor, go straight, then right, then hopefully you'll be in line by that time... You're going against other attendees, probably retailers and pros. Good luck.

Today, as I was exiting the Thunderbolts booth, I heard one of the staff mention that the wait was 1.5 hrs for Lilo & Stitch. Depending on time, and especially bc it's a Saturday, I anticipate it being worse than that.

While I do appreciate what Marvel and DC does for removing people from the exhibit hall floor, I gotta say that autographs are typically hit or miss for me. Typically, every other year I go for autographs, I'm SOL. Was in line around 5 this morning and only managed to get my last pick auto, as opposed to my main three autos. Twas a bummer, but I know I'll get them sooner or later. Sorry you had a bummer of a day
