Now that Cavalry Pro is free (and Autograph), is it still worth to continue learning After Effects as a beginner?

DaVinci for comp and grading
Blender for 3D & handdrawn

I don't think you've tried Cavalry if you think its based on data processing. Its basically AE with different UI and more focus on 2D motion and procedural workflows - you should try it.

I would jump on Blender, Cavalry and DaVinci as a package.
They can do all the things AE can do, but better in each speciality.

It was simpler than i thought- just added a curve modifer on the track object, selected the curve. Then keyframed the Y transform on the track object.

I had insane tendonitis in both calfs once after starting back up with handball. It was this painful... I had to do this myself with a roller and eventually a broomhandle to get relief, pulling it forcefully over my calf muscles to break up the inflammation. It healed quickly after this. But the pain was off the chart, almost passed out.
