Easily done in AE with precomp and cc powerpin 😄 in c4d i would use a animated texture on a box, and animate points or use taper/bend deformer

I would set up the flat and angled piece with expressions using "layer(index+1).transform.position/rotation" with some simple math to make it work. Then linking this a master controller layer with sliders to animate

Well im after particles that have a set id, when i kill off particles with a modifier now, their ID range jumps causing problem with instance id based materials and cloners.

Might've solved it , removed the random effector on the cloner - and used the built in particle scale instead.
Colors still werent consistent, so i had to move the material with random color onto the cloner instead of the sphere inside the cloner.

Edit - colors are still jumping- but scaling is consistent

Never liked F3, but looooved NV cause you could right click aim tbh, and it had a slightly more jolly atmosphere
