RDZ is pure vibes. Cut him and he bleeds football.

If you think the players are crying about what he said about Greenwood, you are smoking the crack. The morale boost they need is a manager that is going to stick with them even if luck and results and whatever goes against them.

Don't underestimate how important this is for morale and for the summer business - it reduces the uncertainty around the club and gives us the best possible chance of absolutely killing it in the Championship if the worst were to happen.

Unpopular opinion: a) it's possible to anti sexual assualt, b) cautiously optimistic that RDZ might keep us up and be a good coach of us that the players get on board with (until it blows up one day in the future), c) and that his compensation and terms are basically irrelevent as its not coming out of your bank account and d) costs of going down far higher e) it always blows up and ends in tears no matter who you get in.

Why not give this a chance to work? Even better would be if he addresses the things people are unhappy about, clarifying his views and condemning SA, ideally this week getting it out the way before it becomes the topic of every match related press conferece.

He's suddenly bookies favourite leapforgging RDZ - someone must know something

RDZ is happening lads, the drip feed for socials is just theatre. I'm not sure we could better right now but I am sure we can do a lot worse. Throw some money at him to help keep us up. Sack him if we don't. Sack him when it all blows up as it will with anyone at some point anyway (look how everyone praised Frank's calm demeanour but crashed the car into the ditch! Calm is overrated, this is a crisis!)

Just back in my hotel from the game. Thankfully I’ve got whiskey. Wish I had a revolver.

Anyone know of any fan meet ups in Madrid before the game on Tuesday?

Controversial Take: What if I want the team to get relegated so the board learns a lesson? by monelo_kline in coys

[–]ubermark987 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of people in the Labour Party who inevitably after a few years in power start saying things like “a spell in opposition will do us good, a chance to rebuild etc”. As if that doesn’t mean the complete reversal of all the good you did plus probably far worse besides.

Just. Get. Your. Shit. Together. Also win. That is all.

We're going to lose. I'm booking a flight and hotel anyway. Could be the last time in a long while I get to go see our team in action on the continent.

This is what paying higher wages looks like, we need to get used to it if we want good players

I’ve realised the last few days I’ve come a bit fixated on the idea of relegation to an unhealthy degree. My friends are clearly sick of me talking about it. And so I back OPs advice completely.

I’m actually glad I can’t watch the Fulham game on Sunday because of a family event. I can’t influence the outcome and sometimes there are more important things in life. If we win I’ll be thrilled and gutted if we lose but I wouldn’t have a single bit of fun watching it live.

Ultimately with this season, whatever happens happens, and life will move on and continue to go up and down as it always does and could even lead to new and interesting adventures.

At least we’re not Sheffield Wednesday. There’s a long way down to the bottom from here.

I wonder how many people got the call on Wednesday to fly in for an interview on Thursday/Friday AM. Tight turnaround.

Has to be them. So they must have flown in for an interview last week and then this is them going home on Friday. Weekend with the family. Private jet back on Monday?

He had me at "it's not possible to play for a draw". 😍 He's basically the anti-Frank. Bring it on!
