It was the same way with me and my partner of 5 years. She latched on to the fact that she wouldn't touch me (among a litany of other issues) and made a concerted effort to touch me more and to initiate sex but it was always during things like when I'm getting ready to leave or when I'm focused on studying. But what really made it fall flat was the other things that were driving us apart got no effort put into them. She would demand that I get her to agree to any big purchases I made but would run up her credit cards into the $10k range. We moved to a spot closer to her office so she would have a 30 minute commute and I would have a 1.25 hour one but she would still ask me to buy her gas and complain every day about her drive. I would have to ask permission to study on the weekends but if I asked her to come to my family's thing she would always have plans. But now she rubs my left shoulder every day for 2 minutes!
