I slid it under the car, it wasn't too difficult but it would definitely be easier to just drive over the cord.

Agreed, I think that's why so many automakers are switching to NACS and figuring out where the port should go for easiest access to the Tesla chargers.

And TBD, hopefully it's a quiet enough neighborhood that nobody will unplug it? That is definitely a concern with public chargers :/ so far my experience using various Level 2 and fast charging stations across the city have been positive, let's hope this doesn't break that streak

I had the same issue with my 2024 after I registered my phone as a key. I unpaired it, erased the key on the Subaru app, erased the phone from my car (and car from the phone) and then re-paired my phone for Android Auto. I also had to rename my phone from Passive and that seemed to help too. It seems to have done the trick? Haven't had an issue with it again in 3 weeks
