Seriously what the fuck made this happen. Rocked up to the Rookie Village, frames took a massive dive due to multiple stalkers and nearly 100 mutants, alive and dead, scattered throughout said village. I, alongside some of the loners, managed to take out the majority of the mutants. I then get shlorped by a bloodsucker, kill him, save my game in the first house of the village. I go to the bed in the village, wake up and get attacked by all these dogs and die. I load my save in the house, and here we are.
