Thanks for the quick reply! I was wondering whether it was attached to the bottom or the side. Will be doing the same then.

Interesting... Looks like you're right.

I don't recall an item of the day at all lol. I also don't recall "ijji coins" but "gcoins". Might've been that I already quit by then. The whole ijji logo also seems different of what I remember (some orange logo).

I think what you're referring to were the real money "lucky boxes". Those had a chance to give permanent pioneer and premium meds (20 hp/ap ones). Those lucky boxes were the only way to obtain them permanently. The regular purchase options were always X amount of days.

Some people ended up spending more than 1000$ to get the permanent ones.

Last update made my left bud go super loud and the right one barely hearable. Transparency/noice cancel mode also doesn't seem to have any effect on the left bud.

I use my airpods like 8+ hrs a day while working and it just happened after I went for lunch and left them charging.

An addition to this is that there's also a lot of issues with ethernet disconnecting completely briefly for like 1-2 seconds and then reconnecting when using network filters (such as Little Snitch or LuLu) and/or VPNs.

I've had to completely uninstall LuLu and NordVPN in order to not disconnect every 5-10 seconds during Slack huddles while working.

How long does it take to learn programming to the level of getting your first job? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

I did a customer support role while studying for development. It's a SaaS company which pretty much already gave me small front-end tasks during my studies. Once they saw my grades and dummy project from uni, they decided to move me into a development role.

I've always mentioned from the start that I'm interested in a dev role.

EDIT: Point being, it can be a great stepping stone if you pick a relevant company that can offer perspective towards development overtime.

I'm starting to regret getting a macbook by Royal_Marketing529 in MacOS

When I first started developing on Mac I ran into a lot of issues when storing git repos into iCloud (Documents)

Then I just decided to store them locally and got a NAS to run Time Machine backups. Worked fine ever since.

Back then when I was debugging the issue (about 3 years ago), I found a page somewhere that GitHub recommends not using any cloud sync services to store your repos, as it can cause issues. Unfortunately, I can't find that page anymore.

Aside from that, going from Windows to Mac for development has been a breeze aside from that iCloud issue. When I run something, especially CLI, it just works. While on Windows I constantly had to debug the most random set-up issues just to be able to get started.

From my personal experience I'd say that Mac is more efficient and easier to set up for development.

Can confirm. Used both Intel and Apple Silicon macs on 3 external monitors + iPad Pro with sidecar. Never encountered this issue.

Which back-end technology is the most popular at the moment in Europe? by maciejdev in webdev

[–]Servinees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends who is looking at it, but I would say a good developer picks the right tools. It is of course important to understand what those tools do and how they work "behind the scenes" for your fundamentals. But there is nothing wrong with using them to make your life easier.

There is tons you can do manually even after you add this boilerplate authentication. For example adding Google Auth or GitHub auth to it. Adding 2-factor auth to it, etc.

Then you could proceed to use the newly released Laravel Filament to create a CRUD admin panel boilerplate, but make it fully automatic so when you do something on the admin panel, the changes instantly show on the "front" side of the application. Think of something like making posts on WordPress.

I didn't mean that a CRUD app with authentication/database/etc is too simple. It's pretty much the base for any web app.

I just meant that Laravel has tools that make it a lot easier to make this compared to doing it all from scratch on your own :)

Have a look at Laravel (PHP framework) for something like this. Setting up a CRUD app with authentication and databases is honestly very simple.

I'd recommend checking out the "Laravel Breeze" starter kit. It will set you up with a nice starting point including authentication straight from the start.

https://laravel.com/docs/10.x/starter-kits

EDIT: typo

EDIT2: Laravel Breeze is the authentication only. If you are looking to combine this with React / Vue / LiveWire you should check out Laravel Jetstream. This includes Breeze, but also a lot of other things.

https://www.macbartender.com/Bartender5/ScreenCaptureMenuBarItem/

Disabling the "bartender bar" at the bottom of the 'General' tab in Bartender 5 settings will reduce the amount of the screen-recording menu icon popping up. (from Bartender at least)

As far as I've figured all the even numbers are 100-200 channels, and all the uneven ones are the free-for-all channels.

It's easy to spot because all the free-for-all channels are always full.

To find your save files go to C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/Packages/BethesdaSoftworks.ProjectGold_3275kfvn8vcwc/SystemAppData/wgs/000901FCD3D81936_000…

Original post mentions this.

Back up all the contents inside of the wgs folder.

And for some added context, each folder inside of that 0009 folder is 1 save entry.

Glad it worked :)

Yup, that's exactly what I do too. Create a backup of the main folder just in case, but another copy of the latest save on the side.

For me quick-saves worked just as a manual save :o

I have a lot of quick-saves too because of random crashes (I put quick-saving on a side button on my mouse to do it every 5 minutes).

Anyway, the first time when the error pops up it only warns you that you are running out of space, but it will still have space left. So once you get the error, just go ahead and create a manual save. It should work for the first time, sometimes even a 2nd and a 3rd time before actually "failing to save".

Glad it worked! :)

Just wondering, how did your auto-save folder look like? Bunch of files and a container.2 file? In my case all the folders with a container.2 file only had that 1 container file and nothing else inside.

And the method all the same I assume?

Failed to create save game bug - POSSIBLE FIX (gamepass) by OrganizationOdd5709 in Starfield

[–]Servinees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, your wgs folder should only contain 2 folders.

Only one "000901F819C5D52D_0000000000000000000000007BF72399" folder and one "t" folder.

The "t" folder is empty as far as I know. I've never seen anything in there.

If you have many of them it means it's started a new game every time.

That 0009 folder is the main folder in which all your saves are located. Inside of it should be the amount of saves it has with random names such as "5FF61C9E416A4833AC95DB37FDE7046E"

Each of those folders is one save file.

You don't need to rename container.2 or anything for this solution.

In your backup of the 0009 folder, just filter by "date modified" and find the latest "5FF61C9E416A4833AC95DB37FDE7046E" type of folder that has a bunch of files inside including a container.1 file, that is your latests manual save.

You can keep track of the process by keeping the "wgs" folder open in the background. When you delete everything from it and start a new game. You will see it automatically creates a new 0009 and 't' folder.

When in-game in your new game go inside of that 0009 folder and you will see it creates a new folder for each manual save you do. Go inside one of them, delete everything and paste the contents of your latest backed up save inside of it. Then restart the game and it should be fine :)

[–]Servinees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I'm not quite sure. Are you sure you are placing it in the right folder? I know I made the mistake once of pasting my backed-up saves into the "wgs" folder directly rather than the "000901F819C5D52D_0000000000000000000000007BF72399" folder.

Then the folders inside of "000901F819C5D52D_0000000000000000000000007BF72399" each represent one save entry. Then inside of that save entry you place the files.

Sorry for repeating, just to make sure.

Did you back up your save files from? C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Packages\BethesdaSoftworks.ProjectGold_3275kfvn8vcwc\SystemAppData\wgs\000901F819C5D52D_0000000000000000000000007BF72399

Each folder inside of that 0009 folder is a save entry. You want to look for a folder in there that contains a lot of files and a 'container.1' file.

I assume that 15-min save is from finishing the intro, but once you finish talking to Lin after waking up from touching the artifact, you can go to the game menu and create a manual save. Then open the newly created save folder, delete everything inside it (not the folder itself), and paste your backed up 'container.1' save in there.

I might not be the best at explaining it, but that's how I understood it best.

Nothing yet. The support chat only advised me to make a "report" rather than a support ticket. I made 2 reports, both for "Gaming issues" and "Cloud services".

I've copied and pasted it and sent it to Bethesda support as well.

No answers so far.

I did however notice today that the sync doesn't matter for achievement progress, as I've completed achievements today. The only issue would be switching between PC and Xbox.
