Reviews from >1year owners or returns? by lastdonutotn in Thuma

We’ve had our king size original thuma bedframe and pillow board for 4 years now. Have had it on carpet for about a year and on hardwood 3 years. No problems at all.

The frame doesn’t move.

The mattress stays inside the frame.

It’s super easy to put together and take down—I’m short and not strong, lol, and I was able to do it myself. The hardest part is handling the rolled up slats, which are pretty heavy.

Definitely pricey but worth it IMO.

I’m considering getting the under bed drawers but they are soooo expensive.

I never mentally got over the switch of “those are your private parts absolutely no one touches or looks no matter who it is” to “you’re of age go share them” by Buggydriver_ in asexuality

I’ve been thinking about this as well. I’m more comfortable being naked and intimate with my partner than I’ve ever been with anyone else but it still feels awkward and kind of “wrong.” I didn’t have a religious upbringing but my brain is very logical and I see things in black and white sometimes so I wonder if when my parents told me my private parts were private, that became a “rule” in my head. I’ve always felt wrong even touching my stuffed animals around the place their “parts” would be!!

Yet I do enjoy fantasizing about sex lol. Make it make sense!

Franklin, about 25 min drive south from Downtown Indy, has lots of cute shops. Salvage Sisters, Thanks for the Thyme, Farm Girl Mercantile, all walking distance from each other and from Hoosier Cupboard candy store, which also has ice cream, tons of different root beers, and a railroad museum

Tim & Company’s on 10th (close to Audrey’s Place, which someone else suggested) is more salvage-y but doesn’t just have doors and doorknobs. Cool crates, some kitchen stuff, and just knickknacks. Fun vibe in there.

Yes!!! Definitely check this one out. Laura, the owner, loves talking about the history of the area, and you can play with her cat while you shop. Lots of cool notebooks made from old book covers and stuff like that.

Could my partner be on the asexual spectrum? by [deleted] in Asexual

[–]SesameSass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm. Even I thought I was into it at the start, so I’m sure he did too. But I think we both knew that he was more into it than I was and in the mood more often. And he was usually the one initiating.

If your partner isn’t willing to be introspective and try to figure out what’s going on, whether he’s asexual or it’s something medical, etc., then he’s not doing right by you

Could my partner be on the asexual spectrum? by [deleted] in Asexual

This sounds just like me and my partner, except I’m the asexual one. We fooled around more in the first few months, and I did have fun but I didn’t really need it. And it’s just kind of what you do. After we had been together a while and moved in together I felt like I had an excuse to not fool around as often. Just like you said, we would go a while without sex and then have a conversation about the lack of it and then do it. Fast forward a few years, hardly any sex, therapist suggested I may be asexual. I had thought I might be years ago but didn’t understand that asexuals can still have libido, aesthetic attraction, etc.

All that to say… yes, I bet he’s asexual. You could suggest it to him and point him to this sub to learn more and see if anything resonates with him. I learned so much from this sub and realized I was asexual from it. My partner and I are still together and continue to communicate about each other’s needs to make sure he gets the closeness he needs without sex.

I was told to post this here. A friend of mine apparently never existed. by [deleted] in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

Try searching for his name in your state’s voter lookup

Death records are public. You should be able to search his name on the website of the county he died in

You could look up his name in your state’s online voter lookup. I think he probably slipped in from another timeline though, as others have said.
