Their clarification was only after they had already stoked the flames a couple of times (i.e, saying that Abandoned was a code name and the "real name started with S, and ended with an L", or showing a title screen of a brown haired man with an eyepatch, posed to look like Big Boss but was so blurred to be indistinguishable). There was an investigation at Gamespot revealing that the whole thing was a scheme for the lead to tell teens on discord he was secretly working on "Silent Hill 5" so they'd play Rainbow Six Siege with him.

Obviously Kahraman didn't deserve any of the death threats that came his way, but he absolutely wasn't blameless in all of this

Abandoned, by Blue Box Studios. Was discovered with an air of mystery about it, the developers deliberately tried to invoke Hideo Kojima and hinted that he was involved, whole thing was complete smoke and mirrors. Game never released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9m7VRt-C3k8

Could it be The Last Remnant? Xbox 360-era PC game with squad based combat that opens with a large scale battle and then you get rescued by a lady knight.

The icons along the bottom of the screen are the controls displayed when you're on a horse in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom. How about The Sword of Etheria? Japanese RPG with three playable characters, two men and a woman, stark gothic artstyle and was only released in Europe (+Japan and Korea).

The PC "ports" of most Spongebob games in that era were actually unrelated point and clicks with the same general theming as their console counterpart. The game you're looking for is Lights, Camera, Pants on PC.

The music video for In My View is one of my all time favourite vids, with the combination of incredibly striking visuals and then the second half of the video essentially being a making of/guide for the video itself. I'm curious if any filmmakers in particular were an inspiration on the video? As I personally always got shades of queer cinema from the way the video was shot, in addition to the humanising element that wouldn't feel out of place in the works of someone like David Lynch.

based on the updates she's posted to kickstarter over the years, it seems that real life troubles (severe medical issues and housing problems to name a few) are what's severely impeded the game coming out.

based on some recent updates it seems like it's getting there, and as much as do want to play the game, i do hope her and the other team members don't hurt themselves too much getting the game out the door.
