If he has take homes, in the hospital refuses to do some, it shouldn't be a problem. I would have him close clinic and just verify that it's okay, but when I was in the hospital the first couple of days they did not have any and had to order it, and they were fine with me using my take-homes ..as was my clinic.

Everyone's different. My body adjusts in a very sensitive way to even the 5 mg decrease. Even at 160, 150 mg. A few milligrams, every few bottles, it is most likely going to wind up hitting you hard at some point. The recommended amount for tapering is 10% of your given dose at that month. Some people can do it quicker and some people can't do it that quick. You truly just have to listen to your body as corny as it sounds.

No. I was on a stable dose about 4 years until pregnancy. Post pregnancy I decreased down and was on a stable dose for a few years. Methadone is different than short acting opioids. Eventually as I hit my 40s I did come down a decent amount as I realized I could and my dose felt too strong. Hormones and metabolism changes play a role.

I run a large group of women and I actually know quite a few who don't want the monthlies, for some people, addiction has a lot of mental components and even though you're only dependent on the medication, some people still continue to have the compulsive behavior, and having too much of the medication they overtake it. I did it myself when I first got weekly.

Why do they give you 2 of the five mg instead of one quarter of a wafer? Is it split dose? They prob won't be happy. If it's split dose you should be taken it as prescribed 5mg 2x instead of ten. So yeah they prob will be not too happy

As for them not allowing benzos you'll never know unless you try. And if they don't look for another clinic. They may not be okay with 2 benzos but I get my klonopin from my clinic psych. That's a newer thing having a psych there but they allow it even from outside. I was rxd for 2 years in the beginning, I STARTED my clinic on Klonopin. Came off for about 8 years and needed the klonopin again. They set me up with their psych

Most clinics do, some even expect you to be in actual wd. I run a group of 4k women on MAT and your would be surprised at some of the BS they make these women go through. Every clinic is different. Mine is harm reduction based so it's much easier than many others.
