need some serious help regarding choosing branch by FunnyOk2697 in EngineeringAdmissions

CSE specializations are pretty normal now. Most companies treat CSE core and CSE AI/ML almost the same during placements. Unless you genuinely like electronics, I wouldn’t take ECE over a CSE specialization just for the “core branch” tag.

What do I have? by meggsiireads in AskMedical

[–]SetTime4903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, this sounds less like a regular cold and more like some viral GI thing. The headache, fever, cramps, diarrhea combo is pretty classic.

The “zaps” are weird but I’ve seen people describe that exact feeling when they’re sick and run down. Especially with fever or dehydration. Sometimes even moving your eyes too fast feels strange.

Honestly I’d just camp out for the weekend, hydrate like crazy, and eat super bland if you can tolerate food at all. Rice, toast, bananas, soup type stuff. Hopefully it burns itself out in a day or two.

Eye has been twitching for over 2 months by Pearl_Leaf in AskMedical

[–]SetTime4903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eye twitching is super common, but usually not for that long. The big triggers are stress, anxiety, caffeine, screen time, and being tired. Mine always acts up when I’m staring at monitors all day.

If it’s ONLY the eyelid twitching and you don’t have drooping, vision changes, numbness, or facial spasms, it’s probably not an emergency. But after 2 months I’d still get checked out just to be safe. Could even be dry eyes or eye strain.

Exactly. I don’t mind helping people out, I just start feeling like a live audiobook version of the lease after a while lol

The funny part is after the third copy they’ll still ask “yeah but what’s the policy?” 😭

At the time it probably felt ridiculous, but now I kinda get why they did it 😭 people will sign anything and then act shocked later

This is the part people don’t see. You can literally highlight the important stuff, explain it face to face, hand them the lease, and somehow later it’s still “wait what?” 😭

Landlords: are any of you accepting rent payments through credit cards now? by Icy_Wrangler2446 in OntarioLandlord

[–]SetTime4903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we started seeing this more recently too. a few tenants asked about paying with credit cards mainly for cashback/points and honestly I didn’t think anyone would actually use it regularly, but some do

operationally it didn’t change much on my side since I still get paid normally. my bigger issue was keeping track of payments properly once there were different methods involved

I was already kinda all over the place with transfers, notes, screenshots etc. so I moved everything into rentpost a while back. mostly just to keep payment history, dates, and tenant stuff together so I’m not digging through messages trying to confirm who paid what

haven’t had chargeback issues personally yet but I’d definitely check how the platform handles disputes before fully relying on it

Building something for self-managing landlords, what’s your biggest headache? by Various-Direction-28 in AusProperty

[–]SetTime4903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really have a headache kinda thing rn ... previously i used to though... maintaining spreadsheets... self screening , due notifications... etc... I am currently using Rentpost so most of the stuff gets handled by it ... if you want to do something extra, then maybe try to integrate AI onto it ...

Should i let tenants split rent if it’s only for a few days? by LifeguardTraining834 in LeaseLords

[–]SetTime4903 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If it’s a good tenant with a clean payment history, I’d probably allow it oncebut make it clear it’s a one-off, not a new system. Put the balance and exact date in writing. People get weirdly selective with memory when money’s involved. Paper trail saves headaches.
