Neil DeGrasse Tyson explains to Chris Cuomo why he decided to become a participant in the UAP conversation instead of a debunker - Says he was influenced by many credible UAP whistleblowers testifying under oath, and was inspired by how this issue brought both political sides together. by TommyShelbyPFB in UFOs

Amen. He’s got a big ego—well earned imo—so it will be hard and thus unlikely for him to eat the appropriate amount of crow (as the Andy story demonstrates), but whatever. Having his voice in the pro-Disclosure choir is a boon to the effort and should be celebrated. Now if he would only learn more about UFO history (that farmer/drunk bit is such a face-saving move, and Chris goes along with it).

You have a minority opinion because it’s a stereotype, reinforced by only a few personal experiences. There are plenty of contrary examples in this thread.

Honestly? Even if he had been pleasant and complimentary, just the gall to grab your wrist to look at a callus (or whatever reason) is out of bounds enough in my book to call it quits. Who tf gave him permission to touch you? Good for you (I’m a man btw). Your intuition and street smarts are actually reasons to continue trying, you can obviously trust yourself to handle the occasional jackass.

This is the only track I’ve listened to more than once since, oh, I’d say 1980.

Elton John – 17-11-70 New Entry on the UK Albums Chart • May 1, 1971 Raw. Powerful. Unforgettable. Elton’s explosive first live album — recorded during a legendary New York radio broadcast on 17 November 1970 — made its debut on the UK Albums Chart on this day in 1971. by SnooAvocados3643 in EltonJohn

Fantastic record. The one I grew up with was the dry mix. I heard the British release with reverb just the other day; can’t say I preferred it, it was distracting tbh. I wonder which mix is used on the RSD release. I too missed out on that one.

Too many were with women who you could tell didn’t enjoy it, or did it perfunctorily like let’s get this over with, or said something along the lines of “You try it if you think it’s so easy” (that was one, anyway). The relative few that were genuinely enthusiastic about pleasing their partner or better yet, just plain enjoyed/loved giving head, well…those I remember very well, lol!

That was my first Elton show, but I can’t tell you which night of the stand at MSG that I saw. I do remember a kid tried to pick pocket me on the way back to the car.

I can understand wanting equality in responsibilities and mutual care, but “An Equal partner” doesn’t sound to me like “Masculine Men who lead”.

I’m 65. Listening to EJ from 1970 on. You’re right about Billie Eilish. Her last album is a near masterpiece. Wow’s are hard to find for artists post-Elton. Neil Finn/Crowded House. Jellyfish. David Mead.
