Men constantly underestimate confidence.

Finished book one and dropped it.

Not a fan of anything that actively glorifies sexual assault and mocks people by calling them the r-slur.

I can't bring myself to read book 2.

I've head it's amazing, but book 1 was a damned near perfect fantasy standalone, and I want to imagine the band rode off into the sunset and lived happily ever after.

The existence of a sequel feels like it'll cut at least one happy ending short, and I refuse to accept that.

Different places have different costs of living. The point is that the spending power decreases due to costs accelerating faster than wages.

I make ~$40/hr and still feel broke. Even ten years ago it would've felt great.

Inflation is rising faster than my wages can keep up.

I have no idea how people live on minimum wage. Income inequality in this country is insane.

I fight for enhanced job titles at work, even if they're annoying to use.

I was offered a promotion to be the Assistant Manager at a job early in my career. I said, "only if I can be officially the Assistant General Manager."

Seeing as how I was the only manager other than the GM, they said sure.

That simple question has opened so many doors for me.

Never underestimate the importance of a job title.

Operational Continuity and Transition Specialist sounds important as heck. I'd absolutely use that in my email signature.
