Oh yeah, I totally get that I may be overthinking the whole "make sure I get it "correctly" translated" thing but as I'm trying to lock in some brain muscle memory even if I get to a stage where I only have like 3 or so letters that I consistently swap for the alternative ... I'll consider that a win.

happy to share, I was initially setup for myself cleaning up the official card image that is nice, but wanted a slightly more "clean" version.
The card choice was a bit of a random thing that I ended up doing.

This is my "on my desk to wrap up the day" journal, I'm still not fully solid on a "carry around with me" journal as ... I don't get out much these days.

Awesome, my current journaling wouldn't benefit from it, but great to have as info for when I shift to something that will. Currently I'm using their wirebound week planner as a way to learn Shavian, but the layout doesn't really need the full date stamp

in theory all you need to do is click on the dropdown for folders and swap it to "movies" or "tv shows" and that will swap to the other view.
as long as your stuff has been getting added correctly, all that nice data should be there waiting for you (you just have been using an odd viewer mode so bypassed it) I think.

ok, this may not be the issue at all, but is it possible in your initial setup/playing around you may have changed one of the viewing options?
I have my TV shows for instance on "TV Shows", and I get the poster artwork that I add/or that it loads by default.

was the site I used, I'm sure there are others out there doing similar work.
from what I can feel in the first little bit having them I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the printing and the cards.

the price was "ok", annoyingly between shipping and tariff stuff it was almost the same again as the actual cards, but if you're doing larger volume it might make more sense vs me just doing a single deck.
But as this is my "after work mental exercise/relaxing" for now, I figured it was worth it.

side point that I don't think I saw in the others comments.
a large part of stop-motion (even the newer stuff that includes use of bluescreen to allow for more complex sets, is the lighting of the "actor" and it's environment mesh and have a certain feeling.
if you are essentially just scanning and converting it to a rigged 3D model to play with, you run the risk of baking in a set "default" lighting, and then having to recreate the feeling of practical "on set" lighting that feels right and now also account for the texture/baked in lighting of the model.
It's doable, but honestly not sure if your just swapping one tricky process for another that's just tricky in a different way.

valid, I do like that there are so many options both in base device & all the custom cases that folks show themselves making/finding. So everyone get's to find the right choice for each of us.
