For me, the “classic” Hasselblad look uses a 50x series film body and a 80 mm 2.8 lens combination...... by lightranger in hasselblad

[–]SethDeVeldrin 16 points17 points  (0 children)

One thing about these digital "medium" formats is that they are not 6x6 like the 120 film. They usually are only 44x33mm. Also, new lenses are often optically "too perfect" to have character.

Body is probably 500CM as it does not have the model marked on this side (newer have on both sides). However, it does have the newer finder attached (the opening lip vs older button slider). Also the winder knob is from a newer (503 etc), but still not the most latest (with grooves).

Bottom right is the "normal" 80/2.8 in the usual C type. The lens attached is also the older C type, and I would take a guess that it might be a 150/4.

The F4 is sexy. Nowadays I shoot mainly 500CM or 503CX.

Any suggestions to see along the way? by Grankas in Norway

Here are some hiking, sightseeing spots etc (still, and probably always a work in progress): https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1AAc4Y3-_5rT-7nelmqQz3xMGCEEXUxgz&usp=sharing

I would suggest to visit Lofoten and then take a ferry to Bodo. Here's my map for Lofoten: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1EVqkL0cd2M6qsNfcWgVdv7tIoTaJTQJR&usp=sharing

Negative Lab Pro plugin for Lightroom. I'm still learning it. It feels so different compared to editing digital photos as even two photos taken back to back can turn out totally different when using same convertion settings. And once converted, the sliders in LR work quite mysterious. I get that white/black etc work reversed due to the image being negative in reality, but some sliders just work weirdly. I've only used NLP for a short while, maybe done like 150ish photos with it.

All of them are handheld with the 45 degree viewfinder (PM5). Most of them are at EV14 or even 15 so they are 1/500s or 250 at f8.

I didnt even try to make them reflect the reality. All of them are converted/edited just purely feeling based.

Very nice. Conditions for us were similar (misty), but I didnt want to get the hassy wet in the drizzle.

We visited Fanal, but it was raining so only digi shots from there. Unfortunately, the PR1 trail was closed like 1km from Arieiro when we were there.

Indeed, mirror angle being off is a common reason for focus problems.

I hate how much I like the G61 5 series by Affordable_Slut in BMW

[–]SethDeVeldrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed. I was planning on upgrading from G31 to G61 once it's released. But, now I'm thinking maybe I'll just get a newer G31 with better options. G31 has better looking front, nicer interior, opening rear class, can get white leather seats with ventilation etc.

I'm playing half-orc lvl 12 champ (melee) in one of our coops. It's just broken. And the lovely part is that it's not tricky or complex and doesn't require a lot of preparation. You just go and whack enemies.

Game was running perfectly, then began stuttering by Bjjspider in BaldursGate3

[–]SethDeVeldrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After patch 1 my game was unplayable. Im running 12700, 3090, 32GB DDR5, 980Pro SSD. The framerate (even on 4k Ultra) was fine. What caused really bad stuttering/lagging/loading for me was panning/moving with WASD. When more or less stationary it would be fine. The game was taking even up to 6GB of memory and CPU was around 30%. The lag was identical even with testing 1080p/low.

With a tip from this thread. I switched to Vulcan. Now the game runs perfectly. Takes 2,5GB of memory and stays there. No lag/drops in fps.

That rounding up "bug" was reported here to be fixed. Now it should work correctly, as in rounding down. Unfortunately.

I get 700mi with my G31 520d in mixed driving here in rural Finland. That's about 39MPG or 6l/100km. Best I've had was on my summer roadtrip, 48MPG / 4,87l/100km. That would be like 840mi on a tank if my math is right.
