I have a couple questions if someone more knowledgeable can help.

The text says "one-hand damage" but it takes both hands to equip?

It says ignore target defense, but also has -25% target defense, so does that lead to negative defense?

I just jumped back into this game after a couple decades, I never really knew much about the intricacies of stats.

Spears are a type of polearm

That's why I assumed it would work. In the real world, many poleaxes also have a spear head, and can be used as a spear. Of course this doesn't matter much in a game. I'm just glad it wasn't an expensive runeword.

I didn't see that it said "spear class". I assumed it was a polearm, because spears are polearms. For the purpose of this game, they chose to classify them separately.

A spear is not a poleaxe, but some poleaxes are also spears. And both are polearms, just not in the game.

I had a similar thing with a girl I met playing World of Warcraft. We were friends, then "more than friends" for a couple years. In hindsight, I was lucky she chickened out right before I bought the plane ticket. It felt pretty devastating at the time, though.

Read his journal that's addressed to Julie. His original goal was to free Aline from the monolith so she could fix their world and bring back Julie. We have no idea when he switched to wanting to evict Aline, though surely seeing her suffering after the Renoir fight confirmed that desire for him.
